I would like to go on record as one who objects to not starting Carlos Gomez. Hopefully Ron Roenicke reads this thread before every game.

I like that better than what they had last night, anyway (which is saying a lot, because Kotsay is my least favorite Brewer - but Hart has been BAD).
Roenicke keeps saying NO GOMEZ because the Brewers need offense.
No Berkman for the Cards tonight, and Freese is batting cleanup.

Roenicke doesn't like Gomez against RHP. I'm sure we'll survive without Hart's assortment of strikeouts and pop ups.
I have a good feeling about tonight. I think Wolf comes up big and puts the pressure back on St. Louis.

The game isn't won yet, but they needed Randy friggen Wolf really bad tonight. Those calling for Gomez will get him tomorrow night at least. I thought he was OK, but do we know for sure everything is cool with Ax after getting drilled the other night in the arm? That could have impacted the decision on Wolf in the 7th if they need Saito in the 8th and KRod in the 9th.

When the pitcher missed the zone by 2 feet several times and just barely hit his bat several others. Too bad the one pitch wasn't just a little more out over the plate. Getting Pujols with that first out is huge to stop them from starting something with the heart of that order. They do that and I'm feeling great. Holiday is looking good tonight and he has Berkman to hit in a few ABs or possibly for the 9th if they can get a baserunner.

Now that is how you draw it up. All the pressure on the Cardinals. If the Brewers lose game 5 their odds probably aren't great but they are still in it. If the Cardinals lose game 5 they are toast. No way they win two in a row in Milwaukee.
