FWIW... I wish people wouldn't wear Packer jerseys to a Milwaukee Brewers National League Championship Series game. *sigh*

Did Rodgers just do a Beast Mode salute as he went off the field before Crosby's last field goal?

Watching LaRussa walk back toward the clubhouse after Yuni's HR was awesome. Today showed what an a-hole LaRussa is though. They hit Prince immediately after a Braun HR and then nearly hit both Braun and Prince in their last AB when the game looked lost. Do we know for sure it was on purpose? Of course not, but LaRussa would have been going crazy had they come anywhere close to Pujols in those situations.

Ugh. What's up with Marcum? He laid another egg today. Sans a comeback, the series just got a whole lot tougher. Gallardo goes in game 3 but up against Carpenter who shut us out last time we face him I believe.

Someone should probably go ahead and walk Pujols for the rest of this game at least.

Cardinals ought to do the same with Braun and perhaps Fielder too.

Should Weeks have been called safe on the double play to end the 5th? I thought it was but hopped in the shower and missed any discussion after the commercial break.

Yes and it wasn't overly close by MLB standards, but it is safe to say the Brewers' pitchers did a good job of bailing that 1st base umpire out of any controversy.

Last night's loss means a tough road to hoe to win this series. Gallardo has struggled his entire career vs the Cards but has pitched very well so far this post-season. Right now, game 4 looks like Wolf vs Lohse, game 5 Greinke vs TBD, and game 6 potentially Marcum again (yikes!).

Nope. Just hit him in the neck. Saves a lot of hassle and minimizes pitch count.

Shaun Marcum ruined my perfect playoff record. As bad as he was, he did manage to get more than one person out, unlike Kameron Loe. Thanks to all the people that left early, I got out of the parking lot in record time after the game. :p

Agreed. Yes, I understand that football will always be more popular, but.. can't the Brewers have the spotlight for a few hours at their own **** game?

I was quite impressed with the guy in the Edmonton Oilers jersey that got shown on tv last night

Thanks! It's a bit out of focus because of the screen, but pretty cool still I think.

he was at the game last night (Rodgers) wearing a Braun jersey. They showed him on the scoreboard and everyone clapped (um, except me, cuz I didn't know who he was until people cheered, and I knew it wasn't a former Brewer :p )

I'm 95% sure Geoff Jenkins was there for Game 1 sitting near Mark A., who then stood up and opened his suit jacket to reveal the insides with Brewers jerseys 'spelling out' "2011".

Jeff Suppan is throwing out the first pitch tonight in St. Louis. :eek:

Interesting choice, to say the least. Bob Gibson was busy? Ozzie Smith? Willie McGee? Lou Brock? They had to pick a former Brewer?
