Just pointing out that you are obviously not bad luck, since the teams you root for have had a ton of recent success (this season notwithstanding). :)

I was there today. Section 424, about 10 rows from the top, just to the left of home plate as you look toward the field. Pretty good view of the whole field, even from way up there. Gallardo really picked it up after struggling through that first. I didn't think Braun's throw was going to make it to home plate after hitting the grass so close to 3rd base. Gallardo still seemed to go 2-0, 2-1 on a lot of guys but he always battled back and ended up with 9k's. Too bad that homer happened, but a great effort nonetheless.

Cool crowd scenes: an old woman holding a sign that said "I'm 96. Go Brewers!". Also, a guy actually dressed up as the big blue monster from Monsters, Inc. (the inspiration for 'Beast Mode').

I also found humorous this converstation between a guy sitting behind me and the beer vendor with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th, just before Prince's HR.

Beer Guy: 1 draft left, you want it?
Brewer Fan: I'm thinkin' about it.
Beer Guy: You're running out of time, only one out to go.
Brewer Fan: Alright, I'll take it.
Beer Guy: You're a good man.
Brewer Fan, in a sad voice: D*** you, beer guy.

for those who watched on TV - I thought it was really interesting to see how eerily similar Gallardo's delivery was to Dennis Martinez. They showed it side-by-side, and it was exactly the same. I didn't think the announcers were too bad, overall.

The guy on the radio this morning said the Brewers are playing the Arizona Cardinals, so I like their chances! :D

I am a little concerned that Marcum has not been sharp. The Brewers had a tough time against Collmenter, but that feels like 100 years ago.

I dunno. Larry Fitzgerald is a beast. Who on the Brewers is going to cover him? :D

Brewers need to close this out. You never want to let a team hang around.

Yikes. :eek: If only Marcum had fielded that ball cleanly, he could have been out of the inning with a DP.

Wolf vs. Joe Saunders tonight

please, please, please do not force Game 5. I am not sure I can handle it. :p Marcum alternated between good and not good. Mostly not good. Hopefully Wolf is better and the offense steps up. That Arizona outfield is HUGE. It seemed even bigger last night.

Did anyone win the NLCS lottery?

Once Marcum settled down after the 1st, he wasn't so bad. If he turns that DP, who knows? Then again, we weren't exactly lighting up Colmenter.

Both my wife and I failed to win the NLCS lottery. When we make it, I'll probably try for a single ticket again.
