BouncyBall 2013/2014

Re: BouncyBall 2013/2014

God the Wolves are atrocious. At home for KG's return and they come out and miss 9 straight FG and have 5 turnovers. Sold out house might as well start leaving now. Intros were the best part of the game apparently.

I take it you thought it one quarter regulation game? Looking pretty good since your post.

Gophers beat MSU in OT. I'll take it. Too bad MN is so inconsistent. Very unlikely that they make the tournament.

Back to the NIT for them

The Knicks have the worst record in the NBA at this point at 12-48. Sixers and Timberwolves are only a game back at 13 wins.

Storybook ending in the America East championship.

Albany has a player from Australia named Peter Hooley. Earlier this season he left the team to go back to Australia where his mom was dying of cancer. He stayed by her bed for 16 hours a day for 13 days before she finally passed.

Albany was down from the ten minute mark on today. With five seconds left, down two, there was a missed layup tipped out to the three point line. Albany player grabbed it, gathered, and shot, all in one motion to drain it with 1 second to go. It was their only three of the game, and who else but Peter Hooley.

Syracuse got the USC treatment. Nine-game suspension to Boeheim, 12 scholarships lost for 4 years, vacated a bunch of win and only two coaches allowed for can make off-campus visits.

Glad to see the NCAA is fair with its punishment like restoring wins to Pedo State. Cuse should've been punished, but the NCAA took a flamethrower to them.

The area is certainly a lot more tolerable not having to hear about squeakball 24/7.

Re: BouncyBall 2013/2014

Didn't they know their season was over after they lost to the New Jersey Institute of Technology?

I know it's a punchline, but NJIT finished 154th out 351 in RPI above Rutgers, who beat Wisconsin. It's a bad loss, but not like the worst in history or anything.

Didn't the Highlanders win their game in the College Basketball Invitational?
