Bottom Feeders 2021 ish... Yes. ish.

Cuyahoga County has been in touch. They have been stockpiling old mattresses and food waste to fill the flaming garbage barge to the brim for the Midwest Regional.

Likewise, Nimbus has been stockpiling mice (all dead) for snacks during intermissions at the East Regional. His humans told him that they could not spare any mattresses, but they have a few old flea-infested blankets available to line the ice block benches on the sides of the upper parking lot. Needless to say, Nimbus is pretty psyched to be reffing his first Bottomfeeders Regional. And, yes, Nimbus realizes that Marty set a high bar for high-altitude ice hockey reffing, but is up for the challenge.

The staff of the BFB is currently communicating with each other about these factors for selection:

-minimizing attendance
-maximizing difficult travel
-securing substandard accommodations
-providing rancid food
-keeping Anzalone and Dunleavy in check

Will any of these factors help to determine whether it will be Bentley, Rensselaer, or Colorado College that makes the tournament? Or, maybe none of the above, and another team?

I would feel confident that all three will make the field. But all those decisions fall to the omnipotent Miss Thundercat in this regard.

2021
not completed. Anzalone still has the trophy.

I know my opinion means nothing but I would love to know why RPI is #6 in your BFB when they finished in the top half of the league and won 18 games while a school like Vermont finished just about last in their league and won only 8 games and wasn’t even on the bubble.

Question:

If this is the anti-bracket, why not seed it as the Anti-Bracket*? Specifically ...

The bottom ten of PWR are auto-in; the remaining six slots are earned by late season conference-play ineptitude*.

*If you go 2-8 down the conference stretch you should get a look no matter your overall season record. Call it anti-tournament performance to get you in.

RPI Fan: I need an Everything bagel with cream cheese.

Sic: 24 oz cold brew. 3 stevia.

GO.

Going West:

1. Maine
16. Dartmouth/St. Lawrence winner.

Dartmouth vs. St. Lawrence will happen in a forsaken gravel pit in Grand Rapids, MI.

8. Yale

9. Arizona State

Nimbus is in disbelief as he expected to see those Sun Devils suffer on their hike to the summit of Mount Washington.

Far be it from me to question, but it appears Yale has received both the #7 and #8 seeds.

I'll leave it to Miss Thundercat to clarify, because as we all know anything goes in this tournament.

GO.

Picked up a dozen for you, tried to deliver them and you weren’t home.
So I mailed them to the barge, they should be nice and stale by the time you get there. Perfect for the tournament.
