This is by far the most action the Bottom Feeders have seen at this point in the season.
Therefore, I'm making a suggestion to MissThundercat that maybe it's time to add in the other college hockey tradition - the midseason holiday tournament. With new venues being suggested even after the regional sites have been set, I think there would be no problem in finding another (un)suitable location for the action.
This is by far the most action the Bottom Feeders have seen at this point in the season.

Congratulations to the James Sewell Ice Rink in Cloudcroft, NM. They have been selected to host the first Northern Winter Solstice ("NoWinS") Bottom Feeder Classic, to be played starting at 1:38am on December 21 with the Alabama-Huntsville vs Omaha semifinal. They will be followed by St. Lawrence vs New Hampshire.
The Sewell Rink has all the amenities you'd expect from the "NoWinS".

Regardless of what Flaggy thinks, RPI will probably drop out of the top (bottom) 10 with this one. An unlikely sweep would move them to the bubble.

The loser...er, 'winner'...is Allsup's Convenience, a 24 hour gas and snack stop famous for their toxic Bean and Beef Burritos. Per the request of the tournament committee, the items for the NoWinS have already been set aside to ensure they get nice and spoiled by December 21.

Excellent try. But, it was Harrison Ford who ad libbed the line as a joke in the breakfast table scene in the film Witness. The Australian director knew nothing about the TV commercial nor Ford's rejection for the part, but loved the line, and kept it in.

I've actually been to Cloudcroft, NM. Excellent choice on the committee's part. I believe nearby is a solar observatory that was suddenly invaded by the FBI, all the people removed and the place sealed last summer. So be prepared for possible change of plans.
