Not to mention I've already heard that chant numerous times from BC students directed at...crickets? Does anyone know if there's ever been a Harvard chant of any kind emanating from the balcony???

Re: Boston Universtiy 2011-2012 Part IV: Dont stop fighting til the fight is done!

Solution C: York v. Parker...all four teams line up and Parker and York divide them up by picking them like it was a school yard bball game.

This is freaking brilliant.

As there is a Beanpot thread in which to discuss this interesting stuff, I thuoght maybe we should possibly chat about the game before that game. UMass Amherst coming to town. It's the 40th anniversary of the 71-72 national championship team as well.

Hope the players are thinking about Friday and not Monday. These are two points we need against a team we "should" beat.

Lines the same as Monday night?

No. I'll again reiterate..REALLY WISH FREEP STILL POSTED HERE.

But:
- Cisse in third line, Hohmann out
- Nicastro still sore, in lineup for tomorrow
- Privitera to get x-ray on wrist next week, no update on timeline
- Parker quote: "They don’t perceive themselves as being the No. 1 team in the nation."

Maybe not a coincidence: the coach who'll be across the ice was on that team forty years ago.

Yeah, I know it's not a coincidence. We planned it that way. :)

Gonna be a good night. Roast Beast and college hockey!

Re: Boston Universtiy 2011-2012 Part IV: Dont stop fighting til the fight is done!

Reviewing the lines for tonight, it's painfully obvious BU only goes 5 players deep up front. They've received very little from Rodrigues and Hohmann, lately. Why not reunite Courtnall-Rosen-Gaudet? I thought they generated some scoring chances when they skated as a line earlier in the season?

Because then we'd have to deal with a Gilroy-Santana-Cisse cluster, which is a no-go in my opinion. I like Santana and Gaudet's work ethic is great, so I think they work well together. As for Gilroy...well, he's Gilroy.

This comment sent me to the stats page. Ross Gaudet doesn't have an assist. Not one. Zero. Nada.:confused:

In terms of scoring, this is a two line team. (But the D contributes quite a bit obviously.)

There is a kid on Colgate with 30 goals!:eek:

BU Hockey: Shallow

Re: Boston Universtiy 2011-2012 Part IV: Dont stop fighting til the fight is done!

We're complaining about scoring production from a team that's ranked fifth nationally in scoring? Sure, the bottom two lines aren't the most offensively adept, but putting the puck in the net hasn't been the reason for our problems throughout the season.

Re: Boston Universtiy 2011-2012 Part IV: Dont stop fighting til the fight is done!

We got UMASS 2 / BU 1 half-way through the 3rd. NOT IDEAL.

Way to fall into the trap game, guys. Way to go. Slow clap.

ETA: Maybe BC will wear itself out by scoring so much.
