Re: Boston Universtiy 2011-2012 Part IV: Dont stop fighting til the fight is done!
There is really no easy way to go about this until more facts come out. Being accused of sexual assault is very serious but there have been instances before where someone has been accused of sexual assault and it is no where close to what happened. People will always get riled up over any sexual assault and will immediately jump to conclusions. Unlike the Trivino case, we have no facts beyond he has been charged with sexual assault. When someones is charged, it is usually for a good reason but until more facts come out it is up in the air.
Either way, just the fact that he has put himself in this position is an embarrassment to the team and the entire program. Especially after the Trivino incident. If it turns out to be a horrible misunderstanding then fine but the damage is already done and if it turns out he is guilty then there is absolutely no excuse. For such high profile players to throw away their lives and careers is just mind boggling. I understand that some may call them young but they are adults now and should understand the choices they make. This also comes down to the coaches and especially the captains. It seems unlikely that the captains would not know about problems like this. If they did not, there is something seriously wrong with how the team is set up.
