BU is on track to become amongst the most penalized teams in the NCAA for the second year running.

Fun fact: Last season BU was 2nd in the country in PIMs and first in the country in sexual assault arrests.

They are doing much better this year, however. Only 32nd in the country and no one arrested. Yet...

Why not? Wouldn't make sense to chant BC sucks at that point now would it? I always enjoy singing along to my second favorite naional anthem.

Considering in his first post he took Rover's jokes seriously and called him a fanboy right after Rover was calling out BU players, his stat is more factually accurate than I expected.

I always feel some sympathy for newbie BC fans. They come to school and are told that Notre Dame envies their football program, Duke wished they were BC in hoops, and that they're some sort of 9th Ivy whose grads hire Harvard people to shine their shoes.

4 years later, reality sets in. The athletic program blows. The school academically is 6th in the state at best behind HU, MIT, Tufts, Bentley, and BU even though they only offer like two degrees in Irish studies and Casino management or something like that, and most grads end up working entry level jobs with car insurance or payday loan firms. So, the one solace they have in life is York has built a d@mn good hockey program, so its all good. Let them wear their snuggies to games. Makes it easier to hide weapons handed to them by the hoops team.

Second of all, if they threw that game then they'd also have to throw their tournament game over break as well.

Was there a shortage or did the task force mandate it couldn't be worn anymore so girls could more easily identify their attackers?

I think the task force may have missed something -- those "sexy goalie" chants are dangerous for everyone on campus. Pretty soon O'Connor is going to think he's going to have a shove-his-hand-down-anyone's-pants-that-he-wants mandate.

I see that the new thing with the superfanboys is that they are now wearing BC Snuggies to games. I saw one at BU on Friday and there was a horde of them on Saturday. If BU fans were wearing them you would be all on top of this, a new low.

I saw THREE BU FANS in the student section to my left doing the same thing at Agganis. Wompity womp.

Its pretty obvious that the refs gave Jerry his win on TV in front of the home crowd and that's cool. Given the quality of
HE refs nowadays I'm not too surprised although one wonders if Coach York, a class act by all accounts, wouldn't have preferred to win the game fair and square instead of getting like 20 5 on 3 situations and blatant trips being called diving.

Curious to see if the team goes in the tank @ Providence in order for York to break the record at home. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time a BC sports team threw a game...

By the way -- finally got a look on DVR of Escobedo's dive. That was an EPIC DIVE. Wey's stick *tapped* his shin and then after a full element of time passes he pirouettes like a Russian ballet dancer. I can't even believe there is debate about this.

BTW, looks like the defensive coordinator for ND is very much interested in the BC job...all it took was a new AD to put together a list of legit candidates. Even if it's a stepping stone job, it's a job coaches want. Shouldn't take very long to leave uconn and paul pasqualoni in the dust.

BTW, looks like the defensive coordinator for ND is very much interested in the BC job...all it took was a new AD to put together a list of legit candidates. Even if it's a stepping stone job, it's a job coaches want. Shouldn't take very long to leave uconn and paul pasqualoni in the dust.

Bruce and his kids could be in a shot under a tree saying (yelling) We Are, then cut to boomer and his kid on the field replying "BC". Then cut to Lupica and his kids getting make up "We Are". To russert getting make up too with a picture if Tim on the counter saying "BC"

Then fade to a black screen and ACC reading something like "where rich pseudo celebrities send their nitwit offspring".

Applications would jump!!
