We need new lines. 3 shut outs in 6 weeks? When's the last time that happened? (seriously asking)

Coaches need to light a fire under em.

But hey, Providence didn't make it to the Gahden last year :D

There's bringing extra effort and what happened tonight. Last night they played a good game, but didn't bring the extra effort to get the W. Tonight they brought absolutely no coordinated after Maguire gave up the early one and got manhandled in every facet of the game.

I think Northeastern is going to make the NCAA tournamant and kicks your *** with a healthy Kevin Roy who looks every bit like the best player in the nation right now. Huskies 19-1-3 over the last 25 games, the only loss to BU in the beanpot and you had better hope you don't have to play them now!

He didn't score last night. The goal was changed to Carpenter after the game.

Boy I've never seen northeastern be good. Having met some nu fans(not those on here) I'm not surprised this is what you are like when you actually have something to talk about.

Rossirules was trashing anyone and everyone at Northeastern less than three months ago and now he is talking trash to the one team that has beaten Notheastern this year?

Where is J.D.'s Twitter update? Feeling deprived.

A disappointing way to go out of the conference tourney for sure. But as I said, Hockey East is loaded this year. The team didn't peak at the right time, but some very good teams do the same (see BU 1995-96). So they will likely have to head west for the NCAAs, a situation that has never been kind to the Terriers - I don't think they won a game in a West Regional since they went to the 16 team no campus sites format. So I'm expecting a loss.

But I'm not down on the program. This year was already looking like a bridge year between last year's near title and next years phenomenal recruiting class. And that was before all the mid-season turmoil.

There have been a number of seedlings in last several years based in attendance a team could bring to a venue.

Based in that, I'm hopeful that Lowell gets a three seed in Albany instead of tier her west. It could help BU get a two seed in Albany or Worc as well.

Good luck, though, at least until we play each other again.

Right now BU is a 3 seed. Good thing for them is notre dame and yale also aren't playing next weekend. Wonder how high harvard can get to.

No, they've gone radio silent. Probably still stunned that they lost the series to the "lesser" team. But here was a funny tweet from during last night's game -
