So...what? Calm down.
I ask you a one-word question. That's your response. Good stuff. You really put me in my place. You still didn't answer that one-word question. Why you felt the need to run over here as soon as you saw that tweet to let us know he posted that is beyond me.
Who is "bsrs"?Your bsrs boy pulled a brendan morrison. Said the better team did not win.
Unbunch your panties.
I have noticed some talk about attendance in Hockey East this season, so I am working on attendance figures for true home games (i.e., I'm ignoring 'home' games played away from each team's home rink, like the annual UNH game at Manchester and Maine game at Portland) and I'm breaking out playoffs games vs regular season games. Playoff game attendance, with rare exceptions, is below the regular season average and brings down the overall season average. Regarding this season, BU saw a drastic drop (down -60.8%) in average attendance between the regular season (4676) and postseason (1835). The 2 games dropped BU's overall average 6.8% to 4360. Quarterfinal attendance last night was decent, but the game at BC was off their regular season average by 2228 (-41.7%). The other three games were much better, with Notre Dame down 1140 (-23.6%), UML down 805 (-14.3%) and PC down 332 (-11.1%). Game 2 usually has higher attendance, although BC has had a drop the past two seasons and UML had a drop in 2014.Exactly- ridiculous that every team makes it
1100 at Northeastern
1752 at BU
2200 at Merrimack
4,000 at UConn- buzz over 1st playoff home game
I think this is smallest crowd ever at Agannis
I thought BU played well and outplayed UML the first two periods (and a terrible non-call on the UML trip just before McAvoy's penalty) but they weren't able to get the goals they needed. I also thought BU looked tired in the third and that UML outplayed them for for much of the period. They need to have as good or a better start tonight and they need to get and hold the lead.

Regarding the attendance at Agganis for game 1 of the opening round, yes it was the smallest attendance of all 216 games played there. The second smallest was for game 2 the following night. Only 6 games have had attendance below 3000, five which have been playoff games (four in the past 4 seasons). The lowest regular season game attendance was 2953 for the Tuesday, 26 February 2013 game vs. Merrimack that was rescheduled from Friday, 8 February. BTW, any guesses as to the most attended game at Agganis?
