It'll be interesting to see how much playing time the 4 WJC guys get tonight. And if Grzelcyk, Ahti and Olsson will all return to the lineup from injuries.

I expect fatigue to be a major issue for the team tonight. Between the WJC players returning and three guys who have been injured returning, it'll be tough. Although I guess Ahti could probably keep up his endurance.

With Ahti and Olsson recovering from upper-body injuries, they certainly could still maintain their endurance while healing. As for Grzelcyk, my understanding is he suffered a setback while recovering from the 2nd knee injury via a separate lower-body injury that pushed the entire recovery back a bit.

I wouldn't be surprised if JFK, McAvoy and Fortunato may only be used on the PP and some even-strength situations. I think Hickey (having played 2 fewer games in the WJCs) may be able to resume a regular rotation at D. I expect to see A LOT of O'Regan, Lane, Greenway, Cloonan, Baillargeon and Carpenter up front tonight; ditto w/ Somerby, MacLeod and Diffley on D.

I forgot Olsson was upper body too. If it is still questionable whether he plays, I don't imagine Grzelcyk will be in game shape yet. I too imagine Hickey will have to play a regular rotation. If Grizz is healthy and ready to go, I'd almost prefer he and Switzer play rather than McAvoy and Fortunato.

It'll also be interesting to see the extent of the homerism from the ECAC officiating crew tonight. I wouldn't expect too many PP opportunities for BU and expect to spend some time on the PK. Can't get much worse than the crew @ the Quinnipiac game was...

Aw, c'mon. These are young kids. They can handle a little exercise, can't they?

In all seriousness, I do think that if they are in the lineup, I expect to see them playing their usual amount of game time (within reason). If someone like Fortuanto is too tired to play close to normal minutes, put in Switzer.

Everybody is in per the BU lineup sheet.

All three injured players and all four WJC returnees are in tonight's line-up. Olsson is LW3, Andren is RW4. Diffley paired with Somerby. MacLeod is a scratch. Maguire in goal.

So think could be going worse given the 18-2 shot differential.
Just warming up though.

Also, we are not a first period team

To be down only 1-0 is a significant win. Could have been a lot worse.

Seriously? Maguire is the reason it's not 11-3.

Well if my negativity spurred the comeback like "opposite girl" then I will take the barbs .

Wow!! What a win!! I have been following BU well over 20 years and I don't think I have seen a game play out like that.

I think it's going to take longer to get out of this parking lot than it took to play the game. But I'm ok with that right now because that was awesome!!!!

2 shots in the first period, 20 in the third. BU up to #9 in the Pairwise.

So great to see Ahti back. That was fun.
