i get the anxiety but come on, it's fun!;) especially when both teams are good.................... did i evah tell you i'm a Meffa native too? Fulton Heights, used to go to Wright's pond in the summah then ice cream at Buttricks. Went to St. Francis School until 4th grade:)

I live in Meffa, but I'm from Ahhhhhlington! Was there a Buttricks's in Medford? There used to be one behind Arlington High before Brighams (RIP) took it over.

The games are stressful enough as it is, I don't need the extra added drama of York going for his 1000th, thankyouverymuch. Are both games on TV?

Friday's game is on ASN (NESNplus picking it up) - hence the wretched 6pm Friday start. As of the moment it looks like the game at Agganis on Saturday is NOT on TV. I can't even remember the last time a BU/BC game wasn't televised. We now of course have a bit of a conflict with the Patriots playoff game at 4:35PM.

Speaking of start times, pretty good attendance for a break game at last night's <ahem> 7PM <ahem> start. I had forgotten what a 7pm Saturday game was like! :cool:

Enjoyed the game in person.
- Scarlet - While JFK did perhaps hold the puck too much, I thought McAvoy REALLY held the puck too long a few times.
- I thought Andren had a strong game. Nice to have a blowout so that the 3rd and 4th lines could play regularly, unlike the Harvard game.
- The team defense was obviously much better last night. Although they seemed to be asleep for the 2nd goal against.
- Was surprised how easy Greenway made his SHG look. Wasn't much of a move to the forehand, pretty straight forward. Seems like the goalie should have been able to make the save.

As far as next weekend goes, I think we all know what is going to happen. It seems like it happens the same way every year: BU wins at Conte, then BC returns the favor. So #no1000 will be the case. 999 yes.

yup, Buttricks was at the top of Elm St across from the MDC skating rink at the far end of Highland Ave...............the old fashioned Brigham's on the corner of Main St and Govenors Ave in Meffa Sq.............sigh. I digress

Moment's basement......that's new. Sounds like a greeting card company, or a line of videos. Something like that. I'm sure we'll all get lotsa usage out of that!

Oh great. On top of stressful rivalry game with the potential of seeing York win his 1000th, now there might be snow??? Of course. Why not?
