Nice solid win.
- 4th line was immense, with several great shifts, and obviously the Moran goal.
- Somerby (or "Somersby" as the announcer called him a few times)was a beast in those last 20 seconds, tiring up the puck for that long. Those are the kind of plays that help win some hardware.
- Good to have Maguire back.

And I see UML coasting over a BC team with little to play for on a night UML has to win to have a chance at a bye. Expect BC lineup to be downgraded plus no White again. Best chance is either BC or BU getting a tie and that said BU has the better chance at that .

There have been some really dumb statements on this fan forum but that takes the cake. BC will not be motivated to play tonight? I'm sorry you don't get motivated to win the regular-season championship? Yes they have clinched the number one seed but if they lose and Providence wins they go down as cochampions of the regular season in the record books. So I would think that BC Will be motivated to play Lowell. BC by far is a superior team to UMass Lowell. And so I would be very surprised if BC does not come away with a win again. Plus this isn't the NFL they're not going to rest their star players when they don't have another game for two weeks.

I don't think BC cares about "co" or not regardless I still believe the motivation will be dialed down vs Lowells motivation. How about this if BC plays a flat game I was right if they win you were right . And btw who are you anyway . Dial it down dude and stay on your board and stay off the caffeine

Also, good work by O'Regan to tie up Gross in the final seconds when the puck finally came off the boards.

Well, as mookie said, they usually wear red on the road. Also, they had to be packed. It wasn't like they woke up yesterday morning and said "let's shake things up and wear white tonight!" I'm assuming ND told them they wanted to wear their road blues. I was just curious if there was some reason. You know, like when BC had their laundry issue.

Well be in white again tonight since ND is wearing the green jerseys for senior night. Unless they want it to be Christmas on ice....

Yeah...and that was Ken Hodge (Jr), who should know better. Then again, he's a BC guy and has no love for the Terriers...

If BU wears the now standard white jersey then they will have brought 2 jerseys and 2 pairs of socks, although the pants are the same as far as I can tell. If BU wears the old standard white jersey then they will have brought 2 complete uniforms (jersey, pants and socks).

My take - those white Garrity era units are new this year. A trip to South Bend only happens every couple years so I suspect they wanted to use them as a "special occasion" wear.

The white jerseys have BU's only win ever in South Bend (unless you count getting South Bend native Jacques Joubert to transfer to BU :D).

As I said the proof will be in the way they play tonight and I will be thrilled if they are on the top of their game . Coaches care a lot but the players don't always follow suit. Reg season championships beyond getting the #1 seed are for the Miami Ohios of the world not the elite programs
