I'm guessing Myron. He performed well enough to get drafted by his home town, now he probably was asked by everyone - um, why are you going all the way to Boston? I sure hope it isn't one of the locals.

Perhaps the missing recruit is the Swedish defenseman who is a month late in reporting to school. Although the MJ part makes me kind of dubious.

"It is what it is" We can only concern ourselves with who shows up. Many years ago the entire first line of the Toronto Marlboros was scouted by BU and there was some talk about getting them as a unit. It did not come to pass but the class that entered that year did pretty well posting an unbeaten freshman year and winning 3 Beanpots and 2 NCAA Titles

I love that it's a black and white photo from who knows when. Also, the Tufts one is just a picture. Do they not have an actual mascot?

OK. But what's the point of saying 'one down' instead of 'my sources indicate that a member of the 2012 recruit class is going MJ'? I think it's to dangle in front of everyone that you're well connected and we aren't. I'll tell you that everyone knows you're well connected to the program, and yes it is on some level rather interesting to receive certain news from you before it's broken by the media.

I just think you can be less of a d-bag about it.

Well that really blows. I believe that means it's one of: Grzelcyk, Kurker, O'Regan

Lane is from NY, which would be OHL, right? I don't recall where Moran is from. O'Connor is from Toronto, which would definitely be OHL. I don't remember where MacGuire is from.

Wow that would suck... If it drags on a bit and one or two are gone,
there's very little time if any at all, to sub in other guys. Can anyone accelerate that would be ready and not just a body? Can't believe that there would even be a non committed player that would be of the caliber of BU available... Maybe we see Moscatel in the lineup after all...

Grzlecyk and Kurker are both Remparts picks from what I can gather. "1 down" makes perfect sense if they are trying to nail down both and one is already in the bag for Roy and co.

I'm going to be honest, not a fan of anyone making any move on a college team in August unless something crazy happens like a real late coaching change or something.

Either one is a quality player that is going to hit BU hard as it is a loss of a body and a potentially good one at that.

This might cause me to have to alter my Preseason All-Milk Carton Team too!

Say what you want about Hokydad but he's connected and has the info. At least no one has been arrested for a few months!

That would be a huge hit that would drain half of any excitement going into this season. If this happens, and I were Parker, I would call Roy and launch into an expletive filled tirade. Call me overly dramatic (I am being so at the moment), but I feel like NCAA hockey is turning into Public School hockey - left with the players that couldn't make it to Prep.

Something tells me Roy wouldn't answer the call/call Parker back. That's just how some of the scum organizations up there operate.
