Don't know how Penn St affects BU, but I'm going to be real disappointed if we just get some window dressing with the team given that Fidel got his charges dismissed. Clearly these knuckleheads need a lot more supervision. I never thought I'd be the one saying this, but there's too much drinking and its causing major problems not just with co-eds but on the ice. Can't ever recall a team being collectively hung over before a do or die HE playoff game before in my life. Discpline and pride in wearing the uniform seem to be non existent. Its like watching the Red Sox starting pitchers from last year and like that situation major changes need to be enforced from the administration onto the hockey program. Anybody who doesn't like that can get lost. While this is strictly anecdotal evidence, I've heard from a couple of ex-athletes who told me that when they played (not hockey in one case) the players wouldn't go out during the season getting hammered because they didn't want to let their teammates down. I'm not sure how other schools do it, but these idiots need to ease up on the sauce or else lose the free ride and cushy dorms.

Finally got Jack's season end foh letter... He wrote at the beginning that it was late as he was hoping the task force would be done and he could include that... But alas

BU Men's Crew alum Flo Mennigan won Olympic gold today for Germany in the men's 8 event.

Congrats to a well deserving terrier!

Can we all use this board to sell stuff or is it just limited to photographers? I've got some stuff in my garage I'd like to get rid of. No paypal, just send cash:

1) Barry Manilow 8 track tapes
2) White Disco suit
3) Jerry York voodoo doll, complete with pins
4) Citizens arrest warrant for Gerbe. Charge: assault with a dangerous weapon
5) 12 pack of "Billy Beer" empties.

what we all felt. we had a very good team going into break. then lost two guys. team rallied a bit, then the next event happened. team didn't play so hot after that. was proud of the kids who were there and fought.

Rogie - I saw the blurb in your blog about the book Defenseman. Interesting. Is this guy a BU alum? The CHN article didn't say. I wonder why he chose BU.
