That's true and there is. But you're comparing one thing that takes into account everything with the program to an on-ice record. (and obviously "fire Parker" will never happen, more like forced resignation

When you put everything together, I think the lackluster results on the ice plus the arrests/assaults/rapes/suspensions/culture problems plus the fact that Parker is clearly way past his prime in many ways ('not my job to motivate them' and pretty much admitting that he is unable to relate to the players these days) would present a good body of work for grounds for forcing him to step down. There's a lot more going on and wins and losses there (and ties too).
