WRONG. You're so ignorant and clearly just trying to start a flame war.

We all know it's Georgetown.

GTown isn't Catholic

I know, I know you idiots, I'm talking about their political decisions

FYI to persons I have met in person and those who know me only through here (and the countless BC friends :p). I'll be at Notre Dame for grad school for the next 5+ years, so my college hockey exile ends in October! Can't wait until next year's matchups when BU visits ND when I'll of course continue to be rooting for the Terriers!

and from someone who knows you only on here as candycanes99, good luck!

Touchy, touchy, touchy

Hah. I was joking my friend.

And to Mr. Claver...on what planet isn't Georgetown catholic? Maybe the BC posters can fill you in on that information since they probably applied there too.

From Wikipedia:
Georgetown University is a private research university in Washington, D.C. Founded in 1789, it is the oldest Jesuit and Catholic university in the United States. Georgetown's main campus, located in Washington's Georgetown neighborhood, is noted for Healy Hall, a National Historic Landmark in the Romanesque revival style. Georgetown operates a law center on Capitol Hill and auxiliary campuses in Italy, Turkey, and Qatar.

Perhaps you're confused with George Washington?

Good day.

IcyDan, any supposed Catholic institution that invited Kathleen Sebelius to speak is Catholic in name only. Also Sandra Fluke who made news about the intense need to provide free prescriptions(that only cost about $2.50, a real hardship) against Catholic principles was honored by many of the faculty there, so the faculty too is not in accordance with Catholic principles and far from following the mandatum.

Sorry about the interuption BU hockey fans but misconceptions must be addressed. Now back to some BC/BU warfare: I am hearing that UConn will likely build out Freitas to 4500 seats and that Vermont is likely to build a new 6500 seat arena. I cannot see UConn going anywhere higher than mid level with that but Vermont could possibly surpass Maine with that kind of commitment and be a pain in the neck for both BC and BU.

From the Georgetown website:

"Georgetown is the oldest Catholic and Jesuit institute of higher learning in the United States. Jesuits have played a significant role in the growth and evolution of Georgetown into a global research university deeply rooted in the Catholic faith."

Sounds as if Georgetown would disagee with you.

Calm down, it's ok, we'll get through this together.

"Georgetown Cupcake" is fantastic. Besides that, I've got nothing.

If you're sorry then don't come back.

Is this correct juncture to pose a question about the Catholic church's stance on gambling? :D

Why is it that the same Catholics who are this upset about contraception and homosexuality usually don't give a **** about other important Catholic principles like social justice? Why is it that a Catholic candidate who is pro-choice can be excommunicated, but another who openly supports torture of prisoners is a favorite son? I ask this as a lapsed Catholic myself. It makes no sense. If the church wants to take a principled stand on these things it should at least be consistent.

I love the offseason.

On my way into work this morning, I noticed the shrubs outside BU's church have really been spruced up. Looks nice.
