Re: Boston University: 2010-11 part I - "so...you're saying i get a calendar??"

Yes. It is done by some percentage of games - I forget what the exact number is, but something between 15% and 25%. He only played in one, so he has plenty of room.

And I believe he was injured in the first period of the first game.

Did anybody attend the Lester Patrick event last night? If so, what did JP and JY have to say?

For anyone who hasn't read my weekend preview yet, there has not been any decision made about Cisse missing the season.

Sounds like a strong game for the Terriers tonight...hopefully they keep playing well.

Speaking of playing well, check out goterriers.com and read the article on the women's soccer team. Now that is some goal tending.

Didn't see this one but by the looks of things another solid win. This team seems to get better by the game. Quite a few freshman don't look like freshman. A super start to the season, though one does have to wonder if perhaps this fast start isn't attributable in some small part to getting fat at the expense of some lesser HE opponents.

One trend I'm liking is that we're able find great players who aren't necessarily touted coming in (Gill) and contributing right away.

I wonder if Nieto (despite the hype) is gripping the stick just a little too hard?

Don't you mean "because of the hype?"

How much was Millan tested in this one? Based on the final results (A win. Only one goal given up.) it sure looks like another solid performance from #31. There is no doubt he is "The Man" this year and Rollie will only see spot starts.

Millan really stood on his head a few times in the first to keep the game scoreless. UML controlled play for the majority of the first and had a bunch of chances from right in front, especially on the power play. He wasn't tested nearly as much in the second. Faced 11 shots in the third, but a lot were UML just throwing it on net from all over the place. Not as many grade-A's as the first. Definitely another solid performance, though.

whew.... very lucky to get a point tonight, let alone 2. i want to be able to say, "good teams know how to win when they don't have it..." - but it's still too early to throw that out.

i am pleasantly surprised to see this squad 6-0-1 right now. i would also not be surprised if they are 6-5-1 going into thanksgiving break.

BU stole that one tonight. Ithink the only puck the UML goalie had a problem handling was the game winner, The schedule gets scary tough in a hurry starting next week. We'll know a lot more about this team in a few weeks. Points in the bank are a good thing though,

Re: Boston University: 2010-11 part I - "so...you're saying i get a calendar??"

First off - Opposite Girl strikes again! :)

Second - this game didn't bother me as much as last Saturday's game. I thought they played better and coming from behind to win in the last minute is always exciting. The "We Want Chicken!" chant and subsequent goal was pretty funny.

Sahir Gill continues to impress. I thought Rollie was pretty solid tonight. Glad he played.
