Boston University: 2010-11 part I - "so...you're saying i get a calendar??"

Didn't realize that, still worn in the HE and NCAA Tournaments though, so my general point stands, just with an obvious decrease in value since it wasn't worn in THE game.

BU did the same with the Matt Brown deal. They sent Colin's jersey from the regular season with the FF patch sewn on (I heard after that this was the sweater they wore to Fenway and threw out the first pitch).

Meh, big deal. So what if they aren't coated with the glittery fairy magic of being worn in the Frozen Four. Still a huge difference between a high profile player's game-worn and Kevin Kielt's.

Just trying to get people to bid to help Garner out.

There's still a lot of time left in the auctions, they will definitely get some bids. Thanks for posting the links, really.

Gill is the first player listed on The Hockey News' Hot List today.

I just picked up my pre-ordered Frozen Fenway jersey. It was definitely worth it. It looks really nice and fits really well. Can't wait to wear it to a game.

Is Cisse really missing the entire year, like the article says?

I was just about to post the same thing about Cisse. Did we know that? (That he's done for the year.)

Last I heard is what I reported yesterday- that he'd be "gone for a long time" and might need surgery, but that there was no official diagnosis yet. There has not been any update in his status since then as far as I'm aware. Working to see if anything changed today. Certainly wouldn't be surprised if he does redshirt this season.

Yikes, the poor guy (and Ruikka for that matter) has had it rough with injuries.

just have to add... i was ready to come on here after the 2nd period and yell at y'all for getting on trivino. i thought he played an outstanding game up until that point. should have had three primary assists by putting the puck right on the sticks of chiasson and nieto (2x) where they were no more than 10ft from the net. it was only their miscues that kept him off the sheet. he was playing good in his own end and was able to control the puck on the cycle. excellent game.

--and then the third period .....

I wonder if the author confused this years Cisse ankle injury with last years in terms of time off the ice.

Unfortunately not, defkit. Listen to Parker's comments about Cisse in the post-game interview.

Speaking of Parker, there's a nice NHL.com piece about his receiving the Lester Patrick Award tomorrow night.

Redshirt! Probably shouldn't have come anyhows after his injury last season.

Can he redshirt even though he's already played some minutes?

Yes. It is done by some percentage of games - I forget what the exact number is, but something between 15% and 25%. He only played in one, so he has plenty of room.
