At least twice a week, I desperately miss Inbound's buffalo chicken pizza.

ah, that's clutch at 2am after leaving an allston bar.

Just to give everyone a head's up, it appears that BU will now be playing Brown in the first round of the Shillelagh, not Minnesota St.

When the price of one Bruins game for 3 people is higher than a full season ticket price at Agganis, is it any wonder that the Boston area is producing fewer and fewer top level prospects?

Combine the redonkulous pricing with the general loserishness that has been the Bruins MO since 1990, and it's a miricle there are any Massachusetts kids who a) play hockey at all, and b) wind up playing at BU, BC or any Div 1 roster.

Makes me feel better about what I lay out for tickets at Agganis, though...

So glad I already decided to skip Hoffman Estates this year.

That point alone made a BU season ticket holder out of me 6 years ago.

What kills NHL pricing is the lack of tv money. Brady's contract will all come from CBS. That $150 for a seat, 75 goes to Jacobs, 75 goes to tim Thomas.

This is an excellent point, and it's one reason why I'll happily subsidize college hockey but only attend an NHL game when given tickets for free.

One thing TD Garden should do is dispense with some of the suites, which are often 'dark' anyway. Better to replace them with 'regular' seats that 'mere mortals' can 'hopefully' afford.

They get a lot more money from the luxury suites than they could ever hope to from normal fans. I'm fairly certain that luxury boxes are generally fully paid for, even during games when they're not used. There's not a stadium in America is gonna try and have less luxury boxes.

You are able to rent whole suites or even seats in the boxes for both celtics and bruins.

The Swedish schedule has been revised. They are now listed as playing HARVARD instead of BU on November 1.The original BU November 3rd date is a non game day as well as November 4th for them.

That's interesting. At least they play against one team with international recognition. Name wise anyways. Although, you would think they would try a lot harder to play against the better teams like BU or BC if they were stopping by Boston.

I know there was talk earlier of them playing BU but I do not remember if there was any explanation as to why that fell through.

WTBU has an iPhone app? Man, they're good. We're going to have to come up with something special for the FreeP. Any ideas/requests?

Can you deliver me some of the free media food along with the line charts? That'd be way better than any iPhone app.

FWIW: In TSN's annual survey of top 2011 draft prospects by 10 NHL scouts, Adam Clendening was ranked #9. Apparently, none of those scouts read Hokydad's meanderings. ;) Nieto didn't make the top 10 but did receive some votes.

never once said he was not a very good player. is and always has been

projecting out as a draft pick has zero to do with success as a freshman in hockey east. i think petrecki, pineault and others can attest to that.

Not sure if this was discussed in this thread's previous offseason chapter, but I heard from an extremely credible inside source that CBS College Sports will be broadcasting both games of the BU/BC doubleheader this December.

Always my favorite weekend of the year - such great memories.

Carry on.
