Y'all should write your objections to video feed to College Hockey Inc. since it was their thing and they plan on a lot more. Why? I don't know. I don't think PPV webstreams are really going to convince kids to go the college route.

Just curious, because he played at BU or because he was kicked off a team?

One thing that hasn't come up much in discussion is that BU will essentially have 3 rookie defensemen this year. Riukka may as well be a freshman given his lack of experience. Teams with three rookie d-men tend to struggle early on. I'll be interested to see how that goes.

Gill definitely belongs in a D1 lineup

That second period was great hockey, and 31 was in form for the entire 3rd period. No complaints from me.

Can't you guys just use the names and make it easier on visitors?

Though Bucky fans think the ref's gave the game to BU. *shrug*

yes but parker said it's an unrelated injury. that one was a torn tendon, apparently this is just twisted. who knows.

hokydad said he wasn't good enough to play. that he was exposed in the ushl. attitude issues when he left there and went back to play bchl. only put up points there because he played with the two best guys on his line.

oh, the first one went over 31's D ) glove and hit pipe. bucky thought it was in. stripes talked about it or reviewed it or whatnot. but no goal was upheld. the 2nd one was kicked in by bucky. ref waived it off. no goal.

there seems to be a movement to eliminate hits to the head... bucky laid some hits to the head (on megan twice). one got the game, the other two. the first one was not on camera. the 2nd was and was a clean old hit. but again, if you hit to the head it's a penalty.

another bucky got the game for mouthing off. too bad, shut your trap.

the only gripe they had was 'two games' + two 'no goal' calls vs none of that for our boys.

the one goal was kicked in and waived off immediately. the other didn't appear to go in and the ref's confirmed it. if there is video to prove otherwise i'll listen, but we didn't see it last night.

Agreed. Eaves noted in his press conference that they were told before the game they wouldn't be allowed to use the NHL's over-net cam. Maybe that would've changed things, but it is what it is.

The hit on Megan deserved a game. Blindside, unprotected shoulder to the head. Pretty clean-cut call to me.

Thanks, Mookie. One of the knocks against him had been that he was a perimiter player. Last night, Gill didn't hesitate to get himself into the low slot and fought well behind the net. His headman pass to spring Pereira was perfect and his faceoff results weren't far from that (10-2).

Very justified but if you're use to watching Hockey East games, Parker always gets these calls because his former linemate from BU is the head of officials in Hockey East now.
