Nicastro, too, I think, or did a misread that? Any clarifications will bump us closer to having a new thread going into this weekend and hopefully a clean slate for the Terriers.
Nope, I just completely forgot to include him in the post.

What are the odds that they make it onto the final roster? I haven't looked at the preliminary roster yet, but if it isn't stacked with defensemen, I'd think Warsofsky at least has a good shot. He has been pretty outstanding so far.

I think Warsofsky will definitely make the team. I wouldn't be worried about missing Saponari for that UMass game. As for Nicastro, I doubt it but if the other defensemen aren't any good or he has a good training camp, who knows.

Trivino and Chiasson may also be there for Team Canada.

Good to see a few college kids on there. That roster is all kinds of loaded. And while STL is allowing Pietrangelo to participate, just consider all the players that are eligible but will not (if my math is correct): Stamkos, DelZotto, Tavares, Myers, Kane.

pat KANE? he is US, no?

The Thrashers have four assistant captains? A bit much...

Maybe they are giving out "A"s similar to the BU pawprints. ;-)

Yeah, this is really just to help get rid of this thread...

Remember Walter Brown Arena? That place was awesome.

Atmosphere? From what I hear, yes. Facilities? Not when you try to skate there in April. We had a bunch of hockey classes last year where we had to avoid the rising cement and puddles of paint...

Re: Boston University 2009-2010 Season Thread Part the One

It saddens me deeply that there are BU hockey fans that have never been to WBA.

I really wish I had had the chance. I meant to get to a women's game, but it never happened. And somehow I doubt a crowd of 100 people would be anywhere near the same, anyway.

I skated there twice or three times a week in college, and it was loud enough just on the ice from the echoes that you could get that I imagine it was incredible with a packed house.
