They tell us the score and let us know how much time there is a lot more often than Bernard. More excitement in their voices too.

They are pretty good today. The last two games, though, they sounded like stuttering robots who had one form of communication - trite comments.

they had a lot of problems in the first period, but knock on wood its improved. too bad at 600 pixels it's choppy as hell and gives you a headache, but 400 works well. oh well, at least it's there.

So I'm trying to stay positive about this year's team but when do we reach the point where we can't blame injuries and championship hangover for the team's performance anymore? I would think that time would be around now.
I hope we don't end up like BC did last year and not even have the opportunity to defend our NC. Millan slumping like Muse did last year.

I needed a pick-me-up last night so I watched the last 10 minutes of the NCAA Semi-Final. Holly crap did this team lose a ton of talent!

A. What slurpees said, it's a reference to UNH's little email snafu that came to light this offseason. Read his link or google UNH hockey probation for more info.
B. Do I know you? It's not a bad thing if I don't, as I've "met" a bunch of people here before before becoming friends with them in person, I'm just curious.

Not really sure why many people are pointing a finger toward Millan for the team's recent troubles. I can't really fault him for the 5-3 goals he's given up and even the 5-4 goals as well. (Anyone have a stat on how many PP goals, specifically 5-3 goals, we've let in? Federal League?) Also, how many times this season has the puck been in front of him for an extended period of time that should have been cleared? I'm leaning toward a complete defensive breakdown as the main reason for all these goals allowed. Pucks should be cleared, opponents should be picked up.

My biggest gripe about Millan this year has been his rebound control. He's let a lot of shots bounce right off his pads and sit in front of the net. There hasn't been a lot of directing pucks into the corners and he should be covering pucks a lot quicker.
However, rebound control only comes to burn you if your defense isn't locking up with their guys and controlling pucks themselves. The defense is better => Millan looks better.
