Turns out my FIL doesn't want to go to RHH now.

Anyone got a free seat going down either Friday Night or Saturday morning?

I don't need a ride back, I'll take the train/bus back.

Near the end of the 71-72 season with BU headed back to the FInal Four and BC headed nowhere, the Eagles upset the Terriers for Snooks Kelley's 500th win. Every Terrier shook Kelley's hand at the end of the game. I'll let CDRAL relate the rest of the story.

Being able to regularly watch Devils game with Emrick at the mike is simply a treasure.

Spoke to soon. :mad: The person I forwarded my extra ticket to just called that he keeps getting an error message while trying to download the ticket. Need to figure out who I will be yelling at tonight. The list is long.

they changed it from last year. if you fwd (i fwd all my tickets to myself and keep the sheet they mail intact) you have to log in to get the ticket. that happened with the two exhibitions.

this time i did the "print" option, which gives you the pdf immediately. you could then save them and email yourself to whomever you wish without making them sign in anywhere.

this was something that didn't need fixed.

Is anyone else struggling to get as excited as in the past for games? Don't get me wrong, I am definitely still excited for each game, just not as much as I used to be. It's tough to get as amped up knowing that we can never top last season.

it's more the play of the boys over the first four. :(

last season could have been topped. the boys of destiny did after all did fail to win 10 of their games. they *gulp* tied the igles once. lost to uhn & umo.

one could certainly be picky if they wanted :p

Nah, a repeat would still top it:p

My change in philosophy this year seems to be that the losses hurt less because the team has already given me the ultimate prize. But somehow I think tournament and season ending losses will still hurt the same. Just random regular season games aren't something to kill yourself over as a fan anymore, but we are only two games into the year so that could change.

I came to this same conclusion thinking about it the other day. No matter how amazing last year was, one thing that's more impressive than one awesome title run is two title runs. And much much more difficult. Although it's happened a couple times now, just a little while ago no team had won the national championship in back-to-back years since the Terriers.

Edit: Yes, FL you're right, I should rephrase.

Terriers finished the game with just 18 players (Bonino-injury, Gryba-game misconduct) and only one senior and 4 juniors (one of whom was Adam Krause). When folks talk about a character building win, this is what that means.

Bonino's timetable is two weeks with a dislocated shoulder.
