I know this may be a little off, but why not move Warsofsky up front for a while as he has shown he can be an offensive dynamo. He has done that in a game this season already. He would more likely give the offense a kick forward. He has been great doing that on d, imagine if he were to play offense all the time during a game...

no real suitable defensive replacement. rosen hasnt shown enough to be a solid replacement.

I'm also bummed he got hurt, I'd never wish an injury on anyone.

However...I honestly felt that kid coasted out there every night. I never really saw him skate hard and he doesn't set the world on fire behind the net or in the corners either.

He appears to give up a lot IMHO.

I think his numbers are indicative of his overall lack of effort.

That being said, I hope he heals up, comes back, and lives up to his potential.

I USED to fell this way about Vin. Saponari, not anymore. He's been very solid and aggressive.

I think Glass or Gilroy will do fine on the 4th line. I would however leave Popko there since he seems to anchor the checkers pretty well.

I'd move up Courtnall to the third line and have Megan center the Cohen and Chiasson line.

He's got a lot of skill, energy, and speed. A little zip might really help the Cohen & Chiasson line.

Connolly can center the third line.

when did Joe P go down last year? Maybe this is an omen. Win one for the hurt guy that can't play any more this year. Actually, win 12.

the games that warso already played up front, i thought he looked out of place.....not sure where to be...lost.

i'm much more confident with him playing D.

Rosen and Ruikka are not ready. This might have a disastrous effect.

The best offense is a good defense I say.

Beanpot vs NU at the Garden right?

I have this image of him going around the back of the net, getting his stick caught, and going off.

Pretty sure it was against BC in the HE Semis.

If that's true my memory is completely wrong because I don't remember being on the side of the ice when it happened... I remember looking the long way down the ice.

Edit: Looks from box scores like he played vs BC... so you must be right... darn, I have such a clear image in my mind of that happening and it's apparently completely false.

I'm 100% certain it was against UML in the HE Finals at the Garden.

He went in behind the net, his stick got caught up, and he skated into it.

Freak accident.

The only way Trivino's injury could "help" is if the new lines somehow have better chemistry.

They just might...If Jack moves Megan up to center the 1st line.

id agree with this move. now isn't the time to be shuffling everything up. what about moving boninos line up to #1 - gaudet's play has been spectacular and joe energy and skating has molded well with the other two, swapping with 11-9 and throwing megan in the center spot there.

Usually, you need to prove that source is trustworthy in the first place. I can ask a stranger on the street when he thinks Trivino will be back and everyone would have a hard time disproving my "source."

Then why say my source is already disproved?

nah... good job. you're still my butter!:p

o i will be your butter

Stop responding to buterror's posts, you're just encouraging him. Pretend like his posts aren't there and hopefully he'll eventually fade into oblivion.

Did y'all notice that the team we play twice up there next weekend just released their 2nd leasing scorer?!?!

Yep. I just posted this in the UVM thread, but I'll post it here as well:

I heard from a fairly credible source at the BU-Maine game Friday night that Milo had been in several fights with teammates over the last couple weeks, and that that's the reason he was scratched this weekend. I'd have to imagine that would also be the reason for his release. I don't trust this person enough to site him as an anonymous source in an article, and he said it was all off the record, but I've yet to hear anything more reliable.
