Saints started a nice run for me last year that I would welcome again :D

In case anyone needs a ticket for tonight, my group has one extra.

I have a post in the Ticket section, but considering the timing I am also letting folks here know.

Any word on Colby playing tonight?

Thanks FL.

That thread scares me.

Not to look past the Beanpot, but are either of the BU-Maine games televised next weekend? It's been nice to have the majority of BU games on TV in '10. I'd like to see the trend continue.:)

NESN is airing the Friday game at 7:30.

Colby Cohen is in the lineup tonight. He's not at 100 percent, but he'll play. We'll see what his role ends up being.

How about that guy with the 21 jersey out there?

...On to Maine!

As much as I would've liked to have won the Beanpot, especially against a great BC team, I think this weekend series against Maine is of even more importance. I'm feeling pessimistic but I really really hope the team gives me reason to feel otherwise.

Hopefully tonight's game proves to these guys that they're a lot better than they think they are. They started to throw in the towel a little bit in the secon when BC got it going. They started committing mental errors out of frustration (hello Chiasson) and looked like they were going to hop on the bus at the end of the second. Somehow a few of them dug down and found their grit and fought back. The game was right there for them to take and were within inches of tieing it on numerous occassions. Let's see if they keep fighting back and realize the door is still open for them. If I'm on that team, I want to get right back on the ice and fight like hell for another crack at BC at the Garden in March. Keep The Faith

Disappointed to see BU drop more than five spots on the PWR after a not bad loss.

cant blame 21 for that loss. no one, except millan, came out to play in the second. great comeback though. hopefully they realize what they are capable of when they put in the effort.

BU is going to go on a huge run in the 2nd half. Their defensemen are back to being two-way killers like last year. A tip of the cap to the BU team for their effort and near-comeback.

Re: Boston University 2009-2010 Season Thread III: From the Beanpot until the end...

I was really happy to see that they didn't crumble when BC took over the game. Even though the comeback fell short, I still think this team is beginning to put all of the mental aspects of the game together.

Brandon Yip scored twice last night (#'s 10, 11). I know he had a real nice season last year, but did anyone see this coming?

Not at all. If he had been called up earlier/not injured, I'd have to think he'd be a legitimate Calder contender right now.
