Bad timing for any team traveling to Boston to play the Eagles this weekend. I would guess they just might have a little extra motivation.

Let's be honest, SLU is a gluten free mini-cupcake...So bc should have one of the games where they approach double digits in goals maybe like 7 or 8 to 2 and maybe the other game is 4 or 5 to 1. ;)

Good to see you got your mojo back! Just hope you're not setting yourself up for another big emotional setback. ;) But in this instance I think you're good.

Give it a little time. By Christmas you'll have switched from drinking the Kool-Aid to just snorting the Kool-Aid powder. You'll probably be showing us highlight videos with all Watts' goals in simultaneous fashion, first in mini screens like the eye of a housefly, and then superimposed over each other. I can't wait.

There's no way. Until we get to the tournament and start winning meaningful games, the bad taste of that UMD sweep is going to be hanging over us reminding us that no matter how many crap-ass WHEA teams we beat by a touchdown, we're still 0-2 against any team expected to make the NCAA tournament.

That's not to say I'm not excited to see what we can do once we get to March, but the regular season has gone from being a 5 month long party to being one long study hall.

Reyes and Smith are the real deal, SLU has decent speed and plays enough good teams that they shouldn’t be intimidated. This should be a great series.

Going the way of the selective statistics poster EF1...In that study hall you can lookup and verify that bc has a 5-8-1 record against the 4 top WCHA teams since the 2012/2013 season. And worse yet, in that same timeframe, 0-4 in NCAA tournament games against WCHA opponents Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Ohio State. Yikes...

I've seen this movie. I think by the end of November when you go to Northeastern and blow up the Huskies, euphoria will be back. You'll already be done with UConn, the one HEA team that doesn't seem to be scared of you. Your single game at Maine will be out of the way. Dude, face it: you're an addict. You know that the cupcakes are bad for you, but they go down so sweet. Take another bite; you know you want to.:)

BC went 9-0 against Vermont and Merrimack at home and on the road last year.

In all seriousness, if we find our way climbing back into contention for #1 in the Pairwise, I might get close to my preseason hype level. Until then, it's just not happening lol...

Northeastern is yet another team that will not make the tournament (unless we trip all over ourselves in the tournament again, in which case we will have bigger problems). Beating them is not going to improve our 0-2 record against tournament teams.
