We hadn't heard from you in awhile so good to see you back posting...;)

I think Grant really only cares about the 0-fer against the three WCHA teams in the NCAA tournament games since the 2012/2013 season although I'm sure he still gets a kick out of the fact that bc beat Minnesota 4-1 in the 2010/2011 tournament.

No might about it...It absolutely was selective statistics poster's point and certainly was beneficial for bc from a pairwise standpoint last year. However, when bc loses in the Hockey East tournament and in the quarterfinals to OSU, it's not much to hang your hat on.

That's something to hang your hat on...But then again, the very next game they played...Oy Vey! There was some serious recovery time needed for that.

BTW, getting back to actual current bc stuff. The importance of these very early season games with SLU is off the charts due to the fact that, as of now, bc is in a PPP (poopy pairwise predicament).

Of course , driving home from work I miss the two goals in the second period...1-1 after 2 periods. big edge in shots to bc.

Remember in another 7-8 weeks when you're 190% excited to come back and read your posts, and dial it back down to 150% excited. The end was a little fortuitous; this could just as easily been an OT loss a few seconds earlier. But hey, a win is a win.:)

2-1 final in OT for bc. There appears to be a lot of opposition resistance to take away time and space from #9.

#29 is benefiting from the high-risk, high-reward bc offensive attack.

Do you remember what you were like in the wake of the BC 4-1 quarterfinal win over Minnesota? That was relentless dialed up to one billion percent.

Nice easy win over one of those "crap teams". Hope the players realize that you can't take any team - even the "crappy" ones - for granted.
(p.s. I have the exact same hope for my favorite team here in Minny - it is all too easy to become overconfident/complacent when you think all you have to do is show up to get the expected win).
