In the immortal words of my good friend DC, "THIS"!
Haven't we all seen this film rerun over and over again? Don't get me wrong, it's a real honor and privelege to get selected to any of your nation's natonal teams.....even at U-18 Level, but.... what does that really mean? Except for US v. Canada, the games don't mean crap, so "International Experience" in my opinion is grossly overrated at that young level. Why coaches will automatically dedicate such confidence to these players just doesn't make sense to me. I don't want to embarssa anybody, but I can think of several players just over the last few years, including some goalies, who just didn't pan out at the D1 level despite being given the benefit of the doubt when they first arrived.
Just to be clear, I think the newest member of this club has great promise and will likely evolve successfully. I just don't think the coronation should be occurring yet, especially when there is an experienced option who has already outperformed in this young season.
Understood. Is it better to win 6-5 or lose 1-0 when assessing goaltenders? I know I'm talking extremes but a bottom line guy has to open his eyes and see what is going on in front of him(or her). When a team loses 1-0 and gets out shot 50-10 and the coaches response is "but you still lost" (to the goalie), then the bottom line guy is just a moron.LOL ok..I'm a bottom line guy...most coaches are.

Random semi related thoughts:Miller gives up 3 straight goals and the lead.....hmmmm
Someone's trying to jam a square peg in a round hole, when they already have a round peg.
Interesting analysis.Random semi related thoughts:
Dartmouth: Not for nothing but they got their top lines exhausted from overuse. They are deep and can safely roll all four lines against teams like Dartmouth. Girls got stuck out there early third... They were gassed from then on. Allowed them back in the game.
Looked great at NU almost were shocked by them back at home. Uninspired play. They need a spark. Someone needs to step forward. They have some pretty good talent sitting in the stands. Need to send a message?
Boyles took them a long way last year!
I'm currently on the Boyles bandwagon
Interesting analysis.
I would disagree on the 'uninspired play'. They're scoring goals all over the place. You may be right about overusing top lines and letting teams (you use Dartmouth as an example) back in the game. They are clearly a 'first half' team right now. A 60 minute game from these girls would be a dominant sight.
I'm currently on the Boyles bandwagon as well but I guess I'm open to the rotation until someone really steps up.
Lulz... I bet you did hahahaDon't worry I let Miller know this last weekend.
U loaf- L O A F upon yr. laurels season long. Then u don't evr bring it back from out west. Hasn't happen. Evr. Here we have now to depend on snickering- always snicker. Cantabs... Puritan Can tabs. They might as their 'past' (rep) is respectable 4 them some. Gives them lift nation wide. Agree? Someone needs to get u out of you rut u thinking u poop not kaka, etc. all season. Season after season! Work harder. WORK!!!!! and get us the championship for eastern women, huh?
Huh?
Like today, this year? Bet u will not. Bet u will keep on hijinxing along and wasting talent, time, aiming WAY below, miles of fun too low- higher R E A L (worthwhile) goals. I was coach it would b sprints until...until maybe we had 2 get the zamboni back out...so then we do more- sprints!
I am dis appointed in all the flim flam-ming season long w/o serious work/commitment from u all loafers (and all u other east teams listen here as well!) ARGH. Too long I say.
Pshaw!

I tried to make it as nonsensical as possible haha, that was the joke. And you call that a good rendition "en français"? Not so much.
Well where is the language barrier than? I'm assuming he runs whatever he says through a translator?P.S....Paps is not French, or Canadian for that matter.....He actually lives in your back yard, in the Nutmeg State.
Despite getting more goals than Maine had shots, there's not much you can take from a weekend like this. Maine, unfortunately, is pretty bad this year.Your team is starting to scare me. Very impressive!
