Boston College Off-Season Thread: 2012 National Champions

Question for BC fans - during the first round telecast (probably right after Matheson was picked), Pierre Maguire said that over 25 kids from BC played in the NHL last year. I know the list is pretty long, but is it really more than 25?
Always a fun game. Off the top of my head:

1) Orpik
2) Alberts
3) Kreider
4) Hayes
5) Smith
6) Scuderi
7) Boyle
8) Harrold
9) Clemmensen
10) Schneider
11) Kolanos
12) Reasoner
13) Shannon
14) Ferriero
15) Sneep
16) Atkinson
17) Gerbe
18) B. Gionta
19) S. Gionta
20) Mottau
21) Kobasew
22) Eaves

Who is missing? Anyone? I think that's it.

Also, I found this which seems pretty comprehensive (I only missed like 3 guys and used this list to finish mine off). Who do I have that they don't? http://www.letsplayhockey.com/images/pdf/collegetothenhl11-12.pdf

I may miss some but ill give it a shot...

1. Corey Schneider - vancouver
2. Brian Gionta - Montreal
3. Rob Scuderi - Kings
4. Stephen Gionta - Devils
5. Peter Harold - Devils
6. Jimmy Hayes - Blackhawks
7. Ben Smith - Blackhawks
8. Chris Kreider - Rangers
9. Cam Atkinson - Blue Jackets
10. Mike Mottau - Islanders/Bruins
11. Scott Clemenson - Panthers
12. Nathan Gerbe - Sabres
13. Brian Boyle - Rangers
14. Marty Reasoner - Islanders
15. Brooks Orpik - Penguins
16. Carl Sneep - Penguins
17. Ryan Shannon - Lightning
18. Patrick Eaves - Red Wings
19. Chuck Kobasew - Aves
20. Krys Kolanos - Flames
21. Andrew Alberts - Canucks
22. Ben Ferriero - Sharks
23. Ben Lovejoy (transferred to Dartmouth) - Penguins

Brian Gibbons played some preseason for Pens.
Nick Petrecki played some preseason for Sharks
Phillip Samuelsson played some preseason for Pens.

That's what I came up with, and can't for the life of me think of any more. I check to see if a couple guys were still kickin around for a game or 2 in the nhl and spent the rest over seas or in the ahl or something and came up with nothing. I feel like I could've missed one or two but I can't think of any.

O by the way here's a cool thing I was able to pull up on HockeyDB, and no i don't have a clue how it came up.

LOL...good find. If that clip at 2:25 doesn't typify Jack Parker, I don't know what does.

LOL is right........what a bitter man. There is no way in Hades that he can ever complain about anything that happens in the Beanpot for the rest of his life

Re: Boston College Off-Season Thread: 2012 National Champions

I came across this the other day. It was taped the day after the Beanpot. At the 2:25 mark, Parker goes on a little rant, which is pretty funny to listen to. Then the 5:30 mark he explains how BC scored the winner.

Hahahhahahhahahahahahaahhahhaahhaha

What a miserable human being

Here's to him sticking around at BU for as long as he wants!

Re: Boston College Off-Season Thread: 2012 National Champions

Are they sure about this?

Yea I'm sure the Bruins just made a mistake and posted bad information to their website.

Are these two camps taking place at the same time? Why wouldn't an undrafted player go to as many camps as he wants if he has an invite to do so? They are potential future employers. This is like going on as many job interviews as you can.

Anyway, this is great news for Milner. There were people speculating after he showed he was capable in 2009-2010 that he should transfer because BC had Muse for one more year and then had Billet coming and he might never play... sure that was foolish but some people said it. He stuck around, won the job after Muse graduated, won a national title and will undoubtedly have a pro contract at the end of this season if he does well and stays healthy. Good for him.

nicastronomeanno's charges were dropped when parker accused the girl of diving?

Re: Boston College Off-Season Thread: 2012 National Champions

Cav and Brown are safe for another season. Umass has hired Rand Pecknold of QU.

Re: Boston College Off-Season Thread: 2012 National Champions

Not a done deal yet. Some reports say that Q countered with an offer that Pecknold accepted. UMass may still be looking.....

Re: Boston College Off-Season Thread: 2012 National Champions

Re: Boston College Off-Season Thread: 2012 National Champions

BCHockeyBlog (is that you, Grant?) is now saying it's Paul Pearl.

Anyone have any input to the Mount Rushmore thread?
