Boston College Off-Season Thread: 2012 National Champions

Re: Boston College Off-Season Thread: 2012 National Champions

Can you watch the exhibition game on the BC homepage?
Also curious about this...anyone know?
Anyone know if the BC site (or any other site) streams audio regularly for hockey?
I see no one actually checked the website [facepalm]

Yes, it's being streamed. Looks free:

The stream women's hockey video, so it would make sense they'd show the men's exhibition.

Hearing that despite expanding the student section to behind both nets and all but one upper deck section on one side, that BC oversold student tickets weeks ago.

Going to be such an epic year.

Problem is that it's video... my bandwidth can't handle video. Even the commercials on the ESPN gametracker stutter.

GoNU.com streams all Northeastern home sports events including M/W hockey in HD and not so HD. They are free to everyone (except bu fans). That doesn't mean that you shouldn't come to Matthews next week, although tickets will be scarce You will be able to watch the game and to get replays in HD on demand.
We'll try to make things interesting for you.;)

We're in the pressbox now. You folks probably do you game chats on this board, but we're going to host a liveblog for UNB-Boston over at CISBlog.ca

The video works great for me. Except there is no sound.

Re: Boston College Off-Season Thread: 2012 National Champions

BC 6 UNB 0

Was hoping for a closer game but BC is just too skilled.
Well at least we didn't try and play the trap. :D

You also don't get to see a three goalie shutout very often!

Wish I could - games at Matthews are difficult to beat. I'm stationed on the other side of the planet at an isolated base with what's supposedly a 256 kb/s internet connection but I haven't been able to watch any streaming stuff with it whatsoever.
