Re: Boston College Hockey, Part II

According to the USCHO Worcester preview article, BC "has trailed for just 55 seconds since its last loss on Feb. 19". Wowzers.

Re: Boston College Hockey, Part II

Sneep on College Hockey News' all-CHN team and Dumoulin is on their all-rookie team.

a bit surprised as is Nick P that Sneep is on the first team... very good player, but the second best d-man in the country?

dumoulin was a monster for you guys... logged tons of minutes, maybe even the most minutes/game on the team... he really was stellar and is going to be huge for you over the next couple of seasons...

agreed on all counts.

Sneep really broke out in the beginning of the year, but has been shaky the last few weeks, so CHN probably looked at the whole year whereas we remember more closely the last few weeks. That being said, I'm also surprised he wasn't like a second team selection. He did play very strong early in the year, but second best defenseman in the country does seem a little incredible.

Re: Boston College Hockey, Part II

I'm not trying to bash Sneep or BC by posting this, but there are at least 20 better defensemen in the country. I would say he's not even top 5 in Hockey East. I respect CHN (and have actually written for them before), but Sneep as a First-Team All-American is simply laughable.

Trust me, we understand.

I simply don't get it. Obviously a site like that (involving chumps like Wodon and Machnik) doesn't have much credibility but wow... that is off the charts.

Of course this will be hilarious when BUfanboy84 uses this as evidence to support his absurd claims that Sneep has carried this defense but I doubt he'll come back for another beating.

Re: Boston College Hockey, Part II

Today is my ten year anniversary of posting on USCHO :) Almost 12,000 posts. I think I joined to chime in on a flamefest between Bobo and Pal ...

Re: Boston College Hockey, Part II

I hope the BC players were just watching RIT knock off Denver.

Moral: don't take ANY TEAM lightly. ;)

GO EAGLES!! :)

Re: Boston College Hockey, Part II

I can't tell you how disappointing it is to peak in on the BC thread and not find jcarter getting owned by BC fans... where is he?

Very impressive, indeed. Don't think I'll ever catch you in my burgeoning posting career.

Re: Boston College Hockey, Part II

Just noticed I was one post away from an even 400 and I wanted it to be in the BC thread. Carry on.

Re: Boston College Hockey, Part II

Pretty disappointed with the effort today. Alaska palyed a great game, no taking that away from them, but BC was just bad. Too much standing around, to many missed opportunities.

If they play the same way again tomorrow, they won't be happy with the result.

Re: Boston College Hockey, Part II

Alaska played BC the way UMass Lowell played BC. Today's effort notwithstanding, I expect to see a 'different' BC tomorrow.

I fully expect a different BC tomorrow. But if we don't than the team will be in trouble.
