Did K. Hayes get any shifts with other linemates? Or was it strictly with Brown and Dyroff? For all the stats they keep track of, would be cool if they did TOI.

And finally, for Kenny, just wanted to point out the negative on the UMass goal. J. Hayes, normally a great PKer, had a chance to clear the puck, but couldn't get it done.

... Nothing was more lame than the dumbass UMass students (I assume) in section BB. Couldn't believe their stupidity. While not all together, UMass had a decent showing of fans again IMO. I'm hoping for 4,000+ for a Saturday night tilt, but who knows.

I couldn't understand much of what they were yelling (though thankfully did not hear a repeat of York Swallows which they chanted last time I was at UMass for a BC game), but they were definitely louder than the BC fans so if the UMass fans were lame, what does that make the BC fans?

Agree on Kevin Hayes. He looked like he was making a case for Jerry to put him back together with his brother and Pat.

Disagree on the "C" game. Sure was a sluggish start, but they picked it up after that. Wasn't their "A" game, but wasn't their "C" game. Leads me to believe it ended up being their "B" game. ;)
yeah, i agree i said "C" to kinda get Kenny going;)

Speaking of Almeida. He was probably the best player on the ice tonight. Kid could do whatever he wanted with the puck out there, it was like it was glued to his stick or something.

About the crowd, I was shocked it was so small too. Crowds have been fantastic all year so when I walked in and saw how small it was it was strange.

Almeida was great but Gibbons and Cam were absolutely flying all night, as usual, they stuck out to me

Almeida might be proving me wrong. He'll definitely have an extended chance next season. Maybe he'll have a poor man's Chris Collins like season ;)

I'll take a poor man's Collins from him any time:D, and, oh, i sat in AA and near the U Mass students, you liked the "Green Line " chant too huh?

'C' game, as in 'cruise control'. :)

First 10:00 we were getting our azzes handed to us. Then we kill a penalty, Hayes scores, and we take over the game.

One constant... the D and Muse have looked great.

They need to include the quarters games in the season ticket package -if we don't make it give a refund. Getting tickets for these games is a huge cluster****. Half of the season ticket holders don't get emails for some reason & they only have 1 window in the preceding weeks to buy tickets so there's no lie a 30+ minute wait to buy tickets.

Anywho, very hohum win for BC. Lacked energy for a while, Carey moved up to the #2 line to fill in for Kreider. Jimmy Hayes makes such a living in the high slot, absurd -first goal was an laser. Gibbons also had a great SHG beating Dainton near side on a breakaway, roofed teh **** out of it. High energy play. The PK got BC going, not only are we a top 5 team killing penalties, we also lead the country in SHG -a huge threat to teams. We simply pressure the puck so much most teams can't handle it

The 4th line was Kevin Hayes (who played very well), Brown & Dyroff.

I purchased my Quarter-Final tix when I renewed my season tickets. I don't remember what the exact procedure was but mine were bought and paid for a long time ago. As a matter of fact I got them at a discount - $10.00 each. Not sure why anyone else wouldn't have had the same opportunity.

I never got teh chance to buy when I got my season tickets and never got an email about them (despite the fact that I get 9 billion other emails) so I bought them during the first UMass series

Come on, I was talking about what they were saying, not how loud they were. The QFs never draw well and based off of the attendance this year, I'll give BC fans a pass anyway.

Wait until you're my age!

HaHa. I don't know how old either of you are but I do know that at my age there are far too many things I don't notice. I've pretty much grown to accept it. That being said; I only saw K Hayes on the ice with Brown and Dyroff and I thought he played very well. For that matter I thought Dyroff played fairly well also. Nice to see him get some ice time.

Re: Boston College Hockey 2010-2011, Part II - We Still Have Jerry York. Sorry, Every

Speaking of Dyroff, I could never quite understand why he didn't see more ice time this year, especially in place of TAkinson. Nothing against Tommy, but he didn't put up many points in the Prep league whereas Dyroff was I believe second on his team behind Kreider; plus Dyroff has much better size. Maybe Jerry wants to keep Cam happy :D

Good to see you at the game Steve ...... that was a blast in 2008 in Denver and the guy tossing his jersey over the side

NoDak fans clearly take their Sioux far too seriously. :p
Glad it was the jersey and not us he threw over the rail. ;) :D

In the 3rd he got some time w his brother and Mullane. Again he played very well.

Now THAT was our "C" game.

But Jimmy Hayes told the team to jump on his back cause he was determined to end this thing tonight.

UNH and MC are in. If BU gets in do we play MC since they're the 4th seed?

If NU gets in, do we play NU?

Or do they reseed?

It's Merrimack or NU. Depending on the winner of the BU/NU game. Rather have BU win just for the fact that I don't want to see NU again since we just saw them 3 times in a row two weeks ago.
