Hasn't hockey east had some similar parity going on this year? I think there has been maybe 1 or 2 series sweeps in the season so far.

I think the DU game's going to be awesome.

Kreider won't be playing with us for the Denver Cup, which is a shame, but at least we have him for the Fenway game.

Help!! I thought I was going to get an internet broadcast through the BC website but all I get is a message telling me that the event hasn't started yet. The St Lawrence site just plays music. Anybody got an idea??? :confused:

I wasn't there but on paper it was Milner who came back to Earth. Looks like he gave up a shortie late in the 2nd and collapsed. 4 goals on 22 shots, including 4 GA in a 10:00 span (the last 5:00 of the 2nd and the first 5:00 of the 3rd).

This one's gonna hurt come seedings time. Gotta beat the .500 teams from the ECAC.

Watch them come out and pound DU tomorrow.

hope so zudnic but that was sure an unexpected result especially with a 2-0 lead...........i read york about the team not shooting when open which is a complaint i have had with this team and other recent BC teams. they seem to try for a perfect or pretty goal rather than shooting pucks at the net. it wasn't too many years back when 40-50 shots a game was the norm. not sure what it means if anything but maybe me just whining about the loss. lets see how they come out tonight..........we need this one BADLY! we don't want a 2 game slide going into the BU game which would kind of undo some of the good during the first half.....

I'd agree. BC had plenty of chances last night. SLU worked their butts off, got excellent goaltending, and buried their chances. Great game by St. Lawrence, and BC just needs to take it as a lesson on hard work going forward.

Very tough loss last night...diffucult for the kids to swallow I'm sure.

All part of the learning process...I have suggested since the beginning of the season that this club will surprise us fans on the upside and the downside this season. We got a glimpse of the downside yesterday. The reasons why at this point are meaningless to me when compared to how the team responds today when faced with another outstanding developmental challenge against Denver on their home ice.

What I will hope to see is a renewed TEAM EFFORT from the group focused on delivering excellence through individual performance in a team strategy. The outcome of the game is not as important as the committment of the group to doing their job to the very best of their ability with PASSION!

St. Lawrence delivered a strong dose of reality to these kids yesterday by wanting it more and out working them in all aspects of the game. Today the this club might consider a similar effort against Denver to re-establish the swagger they ending the first half of the season. No frills just business!:)

Shortie was a 2-1 and Milner never had a chance.
