Re: Boston College Hockey 2009-2010

Lots of action. Two commits in one day. Last time this happened was what? Sneep and Ryan Hayes in 1 day I think.

Anyway, the other commit is Greg Brown's son, Patrick Brown.

well heisenberg has barone as committed on 12/19.

but yah, sneep and hayes were the same day. how did you remember that? dumolin and ferriero were 1 day apart in may of 2008. apparently ryan foster and joe pearce committed on the same day, what a day that was!

notables.. coheny and shatty committed to bu on the same day.

Re: Boston College Hockey 2009-2010

york lied!

well, he has a track record. He also "said" Muse would be out until 2010. Just look it up, it's in the offseason coach interviews on Hockey East Online. They might have deleted it.

OK... somethin's up.
Muse, Milner, Billet, Barone in 2010.
That's one too many, assuming Venti is out of the picture.

The boys are due back on campus today after a nice break. Big weekend coming up. Sure would like to see them put on a show out west. Time to get back to work.

Re: Boston College Hockey 2009-2010

Those Emerald Bowl refs last night reminded me of HE refs in the Beanpot...

I thought Kreider played pretty well in the first half for us,nothing fabulous but showed enough that you could tell he has it ............. something clicked ,obviously, because he's rippin it up now!

One thing I noticed is he is a very skinny kid. IMO he shouldn't make the jump to pro hockey after this year because of that. It it much easier to put on weight/muscle at the college level then it is while playing a full minor league/NHL schedule. But if he decides to go we do know he will be a very good one in the near future.

Re: Boston College Hockey 2009-2010

Denver looks to be pretty inconsistent, they have split 5 of the 9 series they've played so far this season, even against lower quality competition such as Ohio State and Alaska-Anchorage. Maybe focus is a problem for this team, I dunno.
