My earlier take that BC has a nasty habit (IMO) of playing one good period and two mediocre ones held to form last night. This time it was the First Period that was the strong one. Periods 2 & 3 were several notches below that, and a better opponent than Providence could have turned the game into a nail-biter.

But in that 1st Period, BC sure looked like a 'Frozen Four' team; the rest of the way, not so much.
