Re: Boston College Hockey 2009-2010

It is tough to tell for sure but I'm leaning towards accidental. I think he was just swinging at the post, but it's still unbelievably careless and irresponsible.

Re: Boston College Hockey 2009-2010

4 points would be nice in the HE standings.
It sure would. It's a big weekend for the Eagles. Two very tough opponents on the road. With some good goaltending I think we can take 4 points. Would certainly keep us at or near the top of HE with one week to go before the break. How good are we right now? We'll soon see.

Re: Boston College Hockey 2009-2010

IF you have a problem, find an usher. If the usher won't/can't help, find a cop. Seriously, there's no reason to be fearing for your life, TTT20.
Yeah, that's what happened when I went to Maine this year, people started throwing stuff at us so we got a cop and he kept an eye on them. It worked well.
Lastly, DO enjoy the game. That's what it's all about, right?
Absolutely. Thank you for your post! :)

It would tremendous statement if they were to get 3 or 4 points this weekend for this young group. More important from my standpoint is the continued testing of this young team on the road. They will surely get plenty of crowd related pressure which can only help their development as a club.

Keys to success...faceoff wins in defensive zone, offensive zone puck possession, PK continued strong performance, PP continued success from Sneep's group, PP success from Cross's group or try something new here, minimize oddman breaks defensively, capitalize on oddman breaks offensively, stay out of the box, and solid performance between the pipes.

Key games in hostile territory...doesn't get any better then this!:)

And now I'll pimp two blog posts in a row (plus 2 thread posts in a row - wake up people!)

Ben Smith is 3 pts shy of 100 career so I finally did the impossible - cutting 1000+ images down to 200 so I could have a mini-gallery for my blog.

FYI, tix for the Hockey East tourney go on sale via Ticketb@stard tomorrow at 10:00 AM.

Re: Boston College Hockey 2009-2010

That's a HUGE road win for the Eagles.
Now let's see some killer instinct and see them bury BU tomorrow night. :)

Got my priorities straight... dropping the Mrs. off at our traditional 'Couples Night' Christmas party with close friends, going to the game, then I'll be a late arrival at the party. Hey, it's their fault for not checking on my hockey schedule before setting the party date. ;) :p

Re: Boston College Hockey 2009-2010

Excellent start to the weekend. Let's see them keep it up on the back end tomorrow night.

Re: Boston College Hockey 2009-2010

Obviously it's still early, but with a few results still outstanding toinght it shows you what a big win this was for BC mathematically. BC up from 12 to 5 in the PWR.

That being said, UMass has been ripe for the picking and Quinnipiac and BC showed that. The win % of teams that UMass has beaten is .455. The win % of teams that UMass has lost to is .636. Color me unimpressed. And that schedule doesn't have a single CCHA or WCHA team on it all year. LAME!

Re: Boston College Hockey 2009-2010

Parker Milner is now 3-0 for BC. Not too shabby for a backup.

On to the Agganis for 2 more points.

Re: Boston College Hockey 2009-2010

For sure its a great weekend!

Only thing that could have gone better was the PP. And maybe Muse not letting in the softy and getting the shut out but a wins a win.

4 out of 4 key points. Great weekend.
