Yes, I was wearing it. Shoot me! ;) :)

But, before you do, consider this. Jerry traditionally juggles lines, D pairings or systems for particular games, leading to the right combos for winning games when it counts. In the end, he has usually found the right combination to get the job done.

I do the same with BC hockey hats. I'm from a family of athletes and coaches, so superstitions are part of the deal. Still tweaking it, but like I've said, I'm an old pro at this... the winning hat will be on my head when it matters. ;)
Hey, we went 19-0-0 to end the 2012 season didn"t we? That was no accident. :D

FWIW though... the stocking hat is retired for this season. ;)

still in critical condition...................the Sunday game in February will be interesting. Very unusual game for these two teams especially after a clean first period

It looks like he will miss next weekend's games too:

Boston College head men's hockey coach Jerry York is resting comfortably at home after undergoing a follow-up procedure to repair a detached retina this morning. Associate head coaches Mike Cavanaugh and Greg Brown will continue to lead the program in York's absence.

Boston College's celebration to honor York for recently achieving the highest win total in college hockey history, originally scheduled for Friday, Jan. 18, has been postponed. The rescheduled date is to be determined.

York underwent an initial procedure last Thursday and missed Boston College's two-game league series against New Hampshire. The Eagles, who split the series against the Wildcats, are back in action on Friday, January, 18 against Massachusetts at 7 p.m. The team travels to Northeastern to face the Huskies the next night.

^^^ I'd be lying if i said i wasn't concerned with this. I thought it was only for the UNH weekend. Hope it isnt a complication

Me too. My dad had a similar surgery years ago. If I'm not mistaken, eyes heal pretty quickly and he was up and at 'em in a relatively short period of time. Heck, I had laser surgery on both eyes one afternoon and had 20/20 vision when I woke up the next morning.
Hope this works out OK for Jerry.

um, no. It was passed to me outside Lake Whitt and i took it for a ride. Boy, there sure is a long drop off the side of the Whittier Bridge to the Merrimack River:D

it was announced or posted somewhere that the Friday night game was sold out but it is NOT sold out. There are tickets on BCEagles.com. As was mentioned earlier, the UNH game 2/17/13 is sold out . Now, both Maine games 1/25 and 1/26 are sold out....... There are tickets left for the other 4 games, this friday night as i said, the 2/1/13 game vs UVM, 2/8/12 vs UML and 3/2/2013 vs PC. Currently BC is averaging 6867 per game. It is conceivable that we could average over 7000 for the regular season (before the 2 HE QF games ruin that). Amazing

Should be able to pick up three points at minimum this weekend. After that it's:

Maine
Maine
Vermont
vs. Harvard

Time to put some Ws together.

yep, need to go on a little run. 4 out of the next 5 in Conte then a big one with UML the in between BP games.................. I was surprised the Maine games are sold out. I suspect a lot of Mainahs bought tickets as they usually do but that team is so bad ,who'd want to drive all the way here to watch 'em get waxed?

Agreed, great opportunity to gain some ground.

I know it's waaayyyyy too early but...

With UNH hosting this year, and 3 eastern teams at the top of the PWR...

Maine's record may not look so grand, but they are capable of beating any team on any given night.
The UMass and 2 Maine games scare the hell out of me as far as 'traps' go.

i know, i'm usually conservative but the two Maine games, faggetabboudit, or however you spell it. More concerned with this friday night and especially at Matthews
