Re: Boston College Eagles
2018-2019
how old will he be?

Helleson has to be part of the class

I'm wondering if there will be any changes on the coaching staff with the way things went this past season which was horrendous
Helleson has to be part of the class
Agree. Helleson is 18 as is Marshall Warren. As solid as Fitzgerald and Kim were, neither one was a great offensive threat. Kim had a great shot but drilled it into the opponents knees most of the season. Both Helleson and Warren are offensive type players who can move the puck up ice. Warren has been on an offensive tear the last couple of months. Warren can score and will likely not be slapping pucks into the crotch of opponents this Fall. He will skate around them. Finkelstein should be an even better player this Fall, as he shook off the rust from sitting out after his transfer. I also have to believe that JY has a scholly left for someone who might want to come to BC this fall. He bounced Tortora early in the season, and Samuellson left the team after 1st semester, and Wahlstrom departed as well.
If the staff is the same you can expect more of the same results.
Anyway, last night was the anniversary of Saint Kolanos and Saint Johnny scoring their respective "Goal Heard Round the World" kind of thing. I watched some clips of those games (thank you Grant for posting so many of those) last night for a trip down memory lane. What great memories. But also, so sad to see how far we have dropped. Those teams were loaded, had speed and skill and more importantly had balls (and a competent coaching staff). It was entertaining to watch.
We are a shell of what we once were.
If nothing else, they should run these highlights on a video screen in the weight room on an endless loop while these kids hit the weights this summer.
ADAPT or DIE.
Ray, add Sox 2018![]()
They print money hand over fist on yawkey. Not problem whatsoever to eat c0ntracts
This is true. Remember that when you all drink your shot glass of Bud Light for $20 in the Friendly Confines. John Henry needs to keep feeding the beast known as the old legendary gold-digger wife 30 years his younger.
Daily reminder to BC athletics department and Jerry York. Adapt or Die.
The newest platitude that we were being force-fed by the end of the season was about how even though they aren't winning they are producing great people!

are bringing in two offensive scorers/playmakers in __________ and ________ who will supercharge the offense this Fall. _________ will arguably be BC 's best overall Defensemen the day he arrive on campus, and __________ will not be far behind _________. _________ is an elite goalie along the lines of _____________.
instead we have seen a procession of John sabo and former employee #6 the past couple seasons![]()
Goaltending will be a question mark.
Huh? This Knight looks phenomenal from what I saw in the World tournament...
