Also... gold jersey for Holy Cross? Seriously. Why? BC needs to lock those things up. They just keep pulling them out in pointless games last year and this year.

Shaky goaltending, weak defense and confusion behind the bench....not ingredients for success. In the past Jerry would use a big weekend like this against UHN to turn things around. We shall see.

Posters are a fickle bunch...

Even questioning York in passing is ridiculous. They've won 4 national championships and 7 conference championships in 12 years. And they are good this year they've just lost 2 bad games in a row.

perhaps but the talent level on this team trumps last years sorry edition. That alone should be enough against Holy Cross at home especially after getting waxed by your guys the week before. I'm not one to leave a game , EVER, but i could not take anymore after two periods. I told my wife "when they try and pay attention I'll do the same":mad: I drove an hour each way to go see that?:rolleyes:

Welcome to our world for the past umpteen years under Timmay.:D Cant imagine those northerners up dere making that trek to Alfond to watch the ineptitude that Whitehead used to call his teams.

When you stop questioning that which is less than it should be, then you accept mediocrity.....its pretty simple.

I don't see much similarity between last year's team and this year's team

i guess it's what a loss to Holy Cross at home does to you. I was hoping we could go say 3-1-1 over the last 5 before the break, now i'd be happy with a split this weekend and a pathetic 2-3 run over the last 5. It was always like clockwork that Jerry would tinker with things right up to the Beanpot and then the run would start. Last year, we peaked in November. This year, I hope we didnt peak in October:eek:

I'm going to be completely honest, I have trouble getting excited for this team lately with the lineup that is being put out there. I think you all know what I'm talking about. It's ridiculous and driving me friggin crazy.

Throw in the fact that BC actually cut a defenseman (NHL drafted fwiw) and I have a serious time just figuring this whole thing out.

I don't know why the team is not playing team defense 1st as they obviously have talent on offense. High goals per game means nothing if you give up too many in return. Watching the Minnesota, Maine, UMass and now the Holy Cross game why are the forwards not back checking the way they should and they need a Tommy Cross type meeting to get it together ?

Play 60 minutes of sound hockey and does Cav leaving have that much effect on the defensive problems ? Don't know much about Marty McGinnis coaching style or effects but what is the problem with this team ? What is Brown doing to make adjustments ? They have to go back to the drawing board and see how they can be more effective on limiting defensive lapses which is apparent on this team. Losing to Holy Cross tells you there's a big problem that's not being addressed effectively.

Mullane and Cross will not be walking through that door so they better find a way to get it together with the coaches.

This has been really bad driving up to Maine and to the Carrier Dome watching these *** games.
