On January 16th of last year Maine defeated BC at the Alfond in a single game. Maine was all over BC and John Muse was pulled (after Dimmen scored the 3rd goal), in favor of Parker Milner. Maine won 4-1. That was last year and this is a new season. I'm looking forward to seeing the Eagles this weekend at the Alfond. I predict a split.

Note to mainuhs. If Billet starts, please dont bring the dunkin donuts. He cant say no. If he doesnt start in favor of trolley runner Milner, then bring beans and franks. Billet'll be happy to fry up some franks for ya, right in his skillet. :D:D:D

As far as 5hole goes, somebody please bring one of those k-mart kids fishing poles with ya to keep him occupied. :)

I remember it well. The Bears played like Stanley Cup contenders that night and I was pizzed. :mad: ;)

I see a split this weekend also.

I'm not sure Merrimack is any better than BC right now. Slight nod to BU, but I'd be curious to see how they matchup considering BUs new look lineup.

I just don't see any way BC takes 4 points this weekend. I'd be shocked if they take 3. At this point I'd be relieved to just get out with 2 points. I say this knowing full well Maine ain't what they used to be. But they are actually better than I thought they would be this year and plenty good (mediocre?) enough to put a beating on BC once or twice.

Plenty of talent there. We just need to see some confidence, swagger, and hustle (from some of them).

Just looked at the rankings, can't believe they're ranked 3rd in the USCHO Polls.

Since November they've been .500 or maybe sub .500 team. When was the last time BC was beaten by UMass (Amherst) in a season series?

I'm hoping for a split at least because right now, they're not playing good hockey. 2 or less goals per game will not do and eventually this could be their downfall if they can't generate more than 2 goals per game.

Dysarts for breakfast..... Nothing like a good old truck stop with over the top portions to get your arteries clogged.

Go to Oriental Jade( I prefer Pats) as well

Jimmy Hayes just scored again for the Blackhawks... kid doesn't look out of place in the NHL at all. I love it.

Dysarts - one of the few places I've found that has baked beans as a side with breakfast! (and they're very good, I might add!!)
