When they are losing big, BU has gotten overly physical and BC takes dives. Don't think either is anything to be proud of.

lucky to have depth

If BC had scored 6 the night before, they would have won as well. Goalies dont score...

i'm certainly now wishing bad luck on any kid (even if he is an igle), but you shouldn't assume a goalie comes in and plays great his first two games and doesn't have a stinker hiding in his back pocket to pull out next game... or the game after.

it's a long season, let it play out.

-and i'm always in favor of a rotation or partnership in goal. you never know when someone might go down and it's good to have both kids sharp. also it never hurts to have someone pushing you to play your best at all times.

the only ones who thinks bc dives are your angry drunk coach and the incessant hockey illiterates that rah rah whatever he does. have a nice day.

Why would the BU fan be doing anything BUT trying to hex BC's goalie?

Nice job by BC to respond to a strange Friday night at Conte. They seemed a lot more physical right from the get-go. When Shea hammered some BU puke into the glass 40 seconds into the game I knew they were going to be fine.

I was somewhat relieved to see they even gave Cross and Dumoulin a breather by putting Dyroff in the game on D at least twice in the first 2 periods.

These two teams may meet again as it looks like Hockey East is BC, BU and Merrimack (although it appears their arthritis is flaring up now at their old age and is causing them problems).

Big trap game coming up vs. PC. The great news is that PC is coming off a terrific high of sweeping the old farts from Merrimack. That will minimize the effect of BC having just played 2 heated games with rival BU.

Any highlights from last night's game? The Hockey East website has been really good about putting highlights of pretty much every game this year.

BU's website *finally* archived the video. I'll be posting a video with BC's 6 goals before I go to sleep tonight. I'll post it here.

I am. It hit me at the 1st Conte game, which I attended with a work friend who is a Bruins fan. I talked her into trying a college game. One team took a penalty, and I turned to her and said, "one big difference between college and the pros is that there will shortly be a make-up call." I don't know many people who would disagree that there's a lot of make-up calls in Hockey East. And I thought about that comment from her perspective. It's so mickey mouse. And before you cry sour grapes, I have seen a lot of bad calls go BC's way and had previously chalked it up to "eh, win some, lose some." It just doesn't have to be that way.

How can Sux2BU fanboys call BC players divers? With all their goonery our players don't need to dive.
