That is your intrepretation....I simply responded to your response to the two BU fans in the posting I responded to.

Speculative is what would have happened if calls had been made differently after a game has ended.

Reading your posts is giving me a headache. Let me try to get this through your thick skull...I did NOT say the result would have been different if the disallowed goal was allowed and the major penalty wasn't called. All I said was that severely hindered BCs chances of a comeback. There's a clear difference that you can't seem to grasp. Frankly, I'm not surprised.

How am I infallible?

The last I heard listening on the radio BC was up 5-1 in the 3rd period. Nice rebound after 2 losses to the hated Terriers at home!

Billett was very good tonight and the Eagles responded impressively. Here's to hoping we see a couple more scrums between the Commonwealth rivals in February, March and how about April to top it off.

i really like smith's game. he is playing his 4th line role perfectly. his points are purely a bonus. some of the other guys jerry runs out there are good players too but havent bought into the team concept yet and understand their role on that line. i think sit-smith-linell might be there to stay.

i like milner, but if billett starts both games this weekend. its an easy sweep.

Always great to slap Sux2BU around. I had no idea Billet had that in him. I was pretty worried when I saw him skating out first. A couple more performances like that and he'd have the starting job.

for sure and you gotta love UML's fans , there's already a game thread for friday night! some of the best fans in HE.......anyway, some may need to sit down while reading this from USCHO's game recap:

The remainder of the game was a quagmire of penalties. Parker praised York at great length for playing his fourth line and his third pairing of defensemen on the power plays to avoid running up the score, describing York as a “class act” and acknowledging that it’s not easy to do when the top BC scorers probably would’ve liked to pad their numbers in the rout.

i only listened to the game, but the BU announcers had a fit that York sent his top PP out at the end of the game. not sure what Parker is referring to. and even if York did play the fourth line more often than not in the third period, it was probably to protect his star players since angry jack sent out the goon squad again because they were losing.

totally classless - before, during and after the games. i'm embarrassed for him.

look at the difference between how the losing teams behaved in the third period on friday and saturday. BC plays hard to the final buzzer making it a close game and forcing bu to go for the empty net. saturday, BU devolves into a street fight and spends the whole period in the box because of punching, cross checking and elbowing calls. pathetic. a direct reflection of the respective coaches.

It is pretty pathetic the difference between how BC plays when they're losing big vs BU, which has never been more evident than how things played out this weekend. BU fans will laugh it off, look the other way or be in complete denial, but the bottom line is that their coach allows it to happen (more like promotes it) and that my friends is why York has 1000 times the respect that Parker has or ever will have.

Someone over on EA mentioned that Hayes is playing hurt, anyone know the scoop? Am also wondering what the status is on Wey? While we got by without him, we were like 5-1 before the injury and 6-4 after, so there's no doubt that he has been missed. It will likely take a few more games to make a decision, but gotta think that Billett is the main guy from here on out. No disrespect to Milner, but wasn't he a last second recruit brought in in case Muse's hip wasn't ok? Those typically aren't the type of goalies you win championships with, whereas Billett had been a top goalie recruit and on their radar screen for a long time. Again, nothing against Milner, but he is what he is, an average to good D-1 Goalie.
