Boston College @ Boston University, 12/5 - The First Of Four Venues

Re: Boston College @ Boston University, 12/5 - The First Of Four Venues

Do you know where they're going to put the bands?
Not yet - hopefully the Fenway folks do it better than the TDG folks, who separate the bands from their student sections for no apparent reason.

i thought they had those sections marked on the original seat map back when the tickets went on sale. both on the right side, but more in the infield GS area.

Funny you mention that, TDG and the schools are actually considering changing the band sections at the Beanpot. The rationale behind the current alignment was that when it was created the only two schools that would regularly fill the ~4500 seats they were allotted with their own fans were BU and BC. So taking away half of a section from NU or Harvard didn't really hurt any of the schools and the band section was always on the same side of the ice (whether that be same endzone but across the rink, or same side of the rink but opposite endzone) as the student section. Now with the new development of the NU section filling their allotment and the BU students saving seats for their own band their is talks about changing the status quo.
