BOSTON COLLEGE 2025 - 2026

Probably old news but Don Sweeney interview indicates the plan is for Dean to stay at the heights for another year. (so I will have to cheer against him for one more year lol)

Happy to see the commit of the beauchensne out of the ohl. If he gets time in a game for the Wilkes barre penguins he will, I think, be the first guy with pro experience ever to wear a bc sweater. Ice time in the ahl is no joke. Also noticed he wears the number 13. Bc is going to have to think about whether that number is retired or not. I don’t think you’ll ever get better than Johnny hockey. I like Woodall as well and looking forward to the soo vs Windsor in the ohl playoffs. Big step to shoring up the d for next year. Two big additions.

On offense I’m hoping bc has a shot at getting Schaefer Gordon-Carrol, who I guess is looking at how his hockey future will pan out after Medicine Hat finishes their season in the Whl. Him and Davidson could bring some chemistry on the offense. The two of them at bc would be a nice combo on offense.

Matthew Grimes-Defenseman -9g/26a- 35 pts for Sioux Falls (USHL) flips from Minnesota to BC. 6”1” 185-L. Looks like a another fast puck mover on the back end-much needed. Brown doing a good job reshoring that blue line after these departures. Will be interesting to see if there are departures (likely). I only see Croskery arriving from the D-men commits from two years back. (Chartrand was injured for much of his season, as was Wathier).
