BOSTON COLLEGE 2025 - 2026

Keep in mind he was only 17 and played with an injured hand. With a year to mature mentally & physically and going to the Bruins camp benefited him. His skating and shooting improved noticeably. Originally he was committed to Northeastern before decommitting to come to the Heights. On Friday the BU players couldn't get to him in a scuffle in front of the BC net as his height aand reach rendered the BU players helpless. It was right in front of me 2nd row from the glass.

I was telling the BU fans beside me he and Gasseau and Hagens could be on the line for the Bs. Gasseau is 6'4 Letourneau 6'7 and Hagens only 5'10

Personally I feel Hagens & Letourneau can use another year at BC but the Bruins may want them to develop in Providence and play more games.
Watched them both play (on TV) more than i had before - Hagens is nifty and Letourneau is do doubt a strong presence. Excited to see them wearing the black and gold whenever that happens. Wouldn't be surprised to see at least one of them play in the NHL this year whenever BC's season ends (ala Lane Hutson last year).

I wouldn't trade Pando for any coach in the NCAA right now. And you have not watched BU enough if you think the BU roster is betters than BC.
Nothing against Pando as he's brought BU to three straight Frozen Fours, but if you wouldn't trade him for David Carle you are out of your mind.

Their nerves were on full display in the first 10 minutes, but once they scored on the PP they settled in and played solid two way hockey. You could just feel they were coming on in the second, had some good chances but once they scored it just felt like they had BU bottled up. Terrible interference call on Minnetian towards the end, GB really was all over the refs on that one. If GB is a bad coach what does that make Pando. Eagle fans can't stop barking about GB until they lose another game, which is quite likely to happen before the end of the season. They have another tough month of hockey, Mickymac, UConn, BU will all be tough, not to mention Umass there and NU at Kelley. Good to see JY and JP out there for the puck drop. Jerry looks a little frail, did he have a black eye ? Great to see the players celebrate and the students were sending the joy right back to them. Any potential recruit has to be thinking I want to be a part of that. Unique event, packed house, BC king of the beans for a year, great to see.

When you consider that BU didn't even win their first round game and only advanced via a tie and shootout "win", you could argue that BU didn't deserve to be there last night and I think justice was served with BC winning. Something must be done to reverse course on this 3x3 OT and shootout crap and exempt this tournament once again.

Also - I think we've picked on NU enough since that failed trolling effort but my God what a 2026 they are having as they finished in last place in this tournament.

Maybe Gasseau since he's a senior who has size and has been on a tear since coming back from injury. As for Hagens and Letourneau not sure if they're ready for the big show. Dean is only 18 and could use another year here at the Heights

Hopefully we don't have to wait another 10 years for the next Beanpot Trophy

If you're going to North Andover Friday you can buy SRO tickets and usually I find an empty seat somewhere. Merrihack College could be another UVM disaster if GB and the coaches don't have them ready and playing error free hockey. No tickets were available unless you need accessible seats.

Besides the fact that it has historically been a house of horrors for BC.
