Re: Boston College 2015-2016 Season

Did anyone listen last night? Tom grace is a character. Filled in for rish. Dropped an "it's on like donkey kong" reference. Don't here that very often from a middle aged man.

Re: Boston College 2015-2016 Season

NU will make it interesting and then lose in heartbreaki g fashion

I don't know about that, they have been playing well and won't be easy to beat. Games have been close and anyone can win this year in a single game elimination.

I will be going with my older brother who is an NU grad from the 60s or early 70s.

Re: Boston College 2015-2016 Season

Was looking at some of the playoff probabilities from playoffstatus... BC is 54% likely to get the #1 seed in the HE tournament. Providence really blew it with their loss this weekend to UNH and they dropped down to only 15% likely. Notre Dame is down to 23% with Lowell at 8% and BU at 1%. Goes to show you how big that win was at South Bend.

UMass has a stranglehold on the inside track to last place at 76% likely to finish 12th. lololololol.

Piszpot tonight. Feel comfortable saying that we have the best goalie in this tournament but Demko needs to prove it and put hardware on the table to put himself up there with the BC greats. He has the team in front of him to do that. When healthy I really like this team and think they have a nice mix of everything going on.

The kid reported that Colin White was missing a lot of shifts and appears to have aggravated a hamstring and skated one shift to start and then sat for a few shifts until getting up and scoring in the first period this weekend. Calnan is likely going to play at whatever percent he is at and with Santini and Fitzgerald back you should see a full lineup I would imagine. Hopefully most of these guys are close to 100%.

Having the game vs. Harvard and having them be so highly ranked makes this a big one. All of Hockey East could benefit from a BC win tonight (remember that all you haters out there).

You nailed it right there.

It's all about this group staying healthy and if they are I like their chances.

Big opportunity tonight for a group where the leaders really haven't played or won a ton on the big stage the last couple of years. How much "being there before means", not really sure.

Re: Boston College 2015-2016 Season

I could be proven wrong in a one game deal but BC has proven to be just as good as harvard is offensively but with a better team defense/goalie.

The one way BC can really get into trouble today is harvard has the 2nd best PP in country right now. BC still leads in PIMs per game. I still like the matchup for BC but expecting a very good game.

Re: Boston College 2015-2016 Season

Btw, we've lamented the lack of shorthanded threat last couple years. Well BC is 2nd in nation with 8 shorties.

Re: Boston College 2015-2016 Season

If you check the BC Hockey twitter account, they have video of York dropping puck tonight. As he comes off the ice i think he says something to rask about having a young dman coming next year but i can't make out the rest. Maybe one of you can.

Re: Boston College 2015-2016 Season

Yikes! Obviously, I hope Demko gets through the game injury free, but potential Beanpot trivia question in the making. The new goalie is injured?

Chuck van kula

What a name

Not counting backup goalie, full lineup today. Curious if you guys like doherty at forward or would prefer him on d and dudek or a dman at forward

Re: Boston College 2015-2016 Season

What in earth is wrong with chris birdsall

Yea IDK... I sent SteveF a text and asked if Birdsall is still alive.

Him and Silk have had a tough season. Silk has had a tough career going back to his last year with the development program. Brutal.
