Boston College 2011-2012 season outlook

Re: Boston College 2011-2012 season outlook

Personally I don't think it's going to be anyone big but who knows... If I had to throw a dart at the board with a blindfold on I'd say Tommy Atkinson now that Cam has signed and he is a fringe player that may still have issues with PT with 14 others guys to compete with for ice.

Only reason I'd really panic on Hayes is if he does well in the summer dev camp for Chicago and the Bhawks make a push to sign him but he really isn't ready.

Re: Boston College 2011-2012 season outlook

I also thought perhaps Tommy Atkinson, or maybe Brooks Dyroff quiting the team. Hockdad never said it would be forward signing pro early. It could also be a transfer. Maybe Patrick Brown? No knowledge, just throwing things against the wall and seeing what sticks.

Re: Boston College 2011-2012 season outlook

FWIW... I don't think K. Hayes is even close to ready. But that doesn't mean squat. I thought Samuelsson was miles away from ready as well, and he's gone. ;)
I threw K. Hayes name out there because he's a #1 draft pick and his brother is with Chicago as well. We'll see.
Hoky... are you just speculating because of Kreider's play in the worlds, or have you actually heard something about someone?

Re: Boston College 2011-2012 season outlook

well samuelsson appears to be already gone from WBS as well. so its probably back to sweden for him much to the chagrin of johnnyduke.

Re: Boston College 2011-2012 season outlook

Per USHR, Danny Linell will be joining the team in the fall after originally committing to Harvard.

Re: Boston College 2011-2012 season outlook

Kiss Kreider goodbye.

No way, shape, or form am I ready to believe that Mr. Kreider is gone from BC until I see it in print from a reputable source!
No where is there any thing from Rangers, Boston College, or from Mr. Kreider.

Re: Boston College 2011-2012 season outlook

Linell is a nice pick up for BC. Fits the mold. Hard working speedy small forward.

Re: Boston College 2011-2012 season outlook

From the Heisenberg site, another recruit for 2013.

Conor McGlynn-LW (2013) Oakville Ont, 6' 170, 6-19-95

edit - nevermind, the kid is from Hingham.

Good pickup... was on the 2011 NTDP Final 40 Camp Roster with fellow BC commits Shea, Savage, and Santini.

A little premature to assume that Kreider is gone, no?
