thanks, he sure beats mike millbury huh?;) just a bit melancholy cuz this is probably his last. the man has brought me so much pleasure after so much pain that i am forever grateful:D

Very excited about the Jerry news. I thought the window was closer to 2-3 years. Awesome for the program. Let's get at least one more in those 5 years, what do you say?

As an Islanders fan, any mention of Mike Milbury makes me sick to my stomach. It would be much appreciated if I didn't have to ever see his name. I just had a conversation with my dad on the way home for Thanksgiving from the train station about how he singlehandedly dismantled the Islanders and I almost jumped in front of a train.

The news about Jerry York is fantastic. Good work by GDF.

As for the Saponari story, that is absolutely hilarious. Idk who gets the last laugh in this whole scenario, but definitely not Vinny. Maybe he should hit the books while he searches for a new place to bring his "talents."

If true, I think Vinny might have to settle on taking his talents to Revere Beach...

Absolutely. Hopefully the offense can come around in these next four games (at Merrimack, Vermont, 2 against BU) before their break. If not, the holiday tournament (Colgate and Dartmouth/Mercyhurst) plus the home and home with Providence should get them rolling.

The pick up for next year, Destry Straight, is certainly good news.

That is great news! I see the team taking a bit of a dip the next couple of years due to early departures, but it sure seems like we'll be absolutely loaded again by the 2013 season, just in time for York to close out his career with a couple more NCAA titles :D
